Hi Gina, I really enjoyed this recipe...I didn't use the pickles but after the pie was finished, I put a dap of sour cream on top and girl....it was the bomb!!!
Gina I made the Hamburger Pie. The only thing different I did was, instead of waffle Fries,I used diced seasoned potatoes. And came Amazing!! It was soooo good. And it was even Better the next Day!!!

This looks good but my husband wouldn't never go along with me putting any Pickles on the pie. I think I will put some roasted Poblano peppers (from our garden) on it instead...My mother always put Pork &beans in ours as well, I had totally forgot about that recipe..If I recall correctly, she also added canned biscuits to it. he would bake them off a bit before adding it to the casserole so they wouldn't be soggy. ..This was one of my favorite dishes as a child, thanks again for the wonderful memories you helped me remember about my mom.

I LOVE hamburger pie Ms. G because its tasty, the ingredients are interchangeable, not too expensive and feeds a lot of people. I use grands biscuits, turkey or chicken, or vegetarian Jiffy cornbread as the topping. Great recipe. God Bless😍.
