You can find the colors I used for this palette listed below in the description.

    Hope you enjoy the new heavily requested mountain scene! I've always had a real affinity for pieces like this, the sharper stokes, the ledges, the mythical feel. It was a lot of fun and again, I hope you find yourself just as pleased with the process! With that, if you support the channel up over on Patreon you can find the traceable, photo, ad-free early version right here! www.patreon.com/posts/painting-snow-in-52823685

    Thank you Ryan for letting us watch you create, I love watching the picture emerge as you go, just amazing. I will have to try this one. I have a cousin that likes mountains so for his 50th this shall be it as well as I can. I love the way you explain and chat all through it and I like that you do it after so it is more detailed explaination as it would be hard to paint and fully explain as you do, great stuff

I love that u actually only block in one mountain/section at a time and that u complete it before moving on! Love the talking, meticulously describing what u r doing and why! U r an excellent teacher for me, a beginner! Ty

    Hello Ryan! I am amazed by how you've grown as an artist! I started watching your videos back in 2015 and I am glad that you stopped seeing how many times you could incorporate the "with that being said" line you used to like to add. It was distracting and then you had me saying it too! No worries though...Not trying to make you feel bad, just thought I'd bring up some funny memories! :) I signed up as a Patreon member and I am so excited to watch, learn and keep painting along with you. I am wondering though, would you ever consider incorporating pet portraits into your tutorials? I know you're a cat lover, so maybe a tutorial on painting one of your fur babies. Just a thought. Stay great and keep staying creative!!!!

    Hi, do you spray your canvas or palette with water?

    • @RyanORourkeArtist
      @RyanORourkeArtist  3 года назад

      I do not as I feel it takes away some level of control. I like to always know exactly how much water is added to my pigments and spraying the palette makes figuring it out a little challenging. Instead I frequently dip my brush in a little bit of water, then wipe off the excess. With that said, just because I don't personally like the technique doesn't mean it's 'wrong' or shouldn't be used. If you find you have real success with it then go for it :)
