- When a RUclipsr disappeared after posting concerning footage, viewers cried out in worry. Why had she disappeared? And why were fans worried? Mukbanger Kate Yup was calling out for help through cryptic messages. And mysterious noises were a common theme in her videos. After three years of silence, Kate returned but fans believe she is in danger, and some believe she’s long gone. Is this the real Kate Yup? And if she is, did she have a choice in her return? I 100% think she’s fine. She’s most definitely using people’s concerns to her advantage. She’s placing cryptic stuff in her videos on purpose. Her acting a little aggressive to those showing concerns for her wellbeing while she’s actively giving people reasons to be concerned is incredibly weird on her part. Messing with people’s emotions like that is gross to me.

This looks like an ED to me. Eating a lot of food quickly and keeping a very slim appearance is usually hard but not impossible but with her teeth falling out really makes this concerning. Looks like bulimia...
I thought so too. I was dangerously close to developing an ED in high-school but after seeing patient pictures and reading symptoms I had nightmares about my teeth falling out and my legs snapping.
That also explains why she shakes time to time in the videos, and probably table's shake is as well from hers, this lead me to think that maybe she is so "mysterius" about herself bc she knows that people will encourge her to take more care of herself

Here’s your answers: There were never any voices, those were sounds from her chewing. The table was rocking because she was bouncing her legs as she hurried to eat faster, along with her tapping on the bowl. Tapping and bouncing your legs (tapping your heels on the ground) are anxious movements. She’s trying to east as fast as possible- in an almost competitive way for the video. Her fingers also moved the bowl, not someone else.

i do believe that she's doing this for the views. I agree with the people saying she wouldn't be editing the videos by herself, adding specific things such as "I am not kidnapped" right before she does a pause when something off screen moves. It just feels staged. She can time these messages correctly to what happens on screen, making it feel ominous. I believe she instead does have an ED or some other health related issues though, i think people should be more concerned about that more than her being 'kidnapped'.

Something I notice about her videos, especially when she's got the blue long-sleeve on, is that unlike other mukbang videos, these ones seem very dreary and almost cold, if that makes sense. There's no sense of comfort in the room, the food is sloppily put together and often nauseating to watch (for me atleast) it feels like some kind of creepy fever dream. The vibes are so weird. Either she's very good at fabricating this story or she's in need of serious help

When you start to go searching for stuff that's not there you often misconstrue what you are seeing as evidence of foul Play even if there really isn't any.
An easy example is both the help being typed into the heading but being interrupted by a t that they're just ignoring. Or the fact that they thought they saw a flower tattoo on her wrist. When in fact that tattoo is of a heart with an infinity symbol in it, which happens to be the international symbol of polyamory. So yes it is very easy to think you see clues of stuff that isn't actually there. Good sleuthing on her home country though.

I've always been convinced that she is binging as part of an ED. The fact that she's lost so many teeth too suggests probably bulimia. It's not something I can watch, but yeah. ED for me, which makes this all the more uncomfortable for me that so many people watch it. I wouldn't be so surprised if she looks so twitchy because she doesn't want to be caught mid-binge or something if she shares a house/apartment with others.

Maybe the editor didn't see any of the videos, but after the last video was posted he viewed most of the videos and threatened Kate for 3 years and after Kate apologizing to the kidnapper non-stop he let her do videos again? Idk I might be wrong. Who knows?
She could also have a job that gets her hurt. Or anemic where bruises and things happen easily. I’ve been asked multiple times if I was being abused because the sheer amount of cuts, bruises and scrapes over my body and the sheer amount of scars littering my flesh. Genuinely wouldn’t surprise me whatsoever if she was feeding into the rumors because she wants the money and maintain her anonymity.

Also the fact she was gone for few years could have just been her in hospital on watch from doctors, ans if she has a mental health issue, she may not have been allowed on her phone. (It does happen)

My mother knows Karlie's dad, and I've done tons of research around her case. She went missing at night, and seemed to be under the Influence. If you are not an actual, gullible twelve year-old, it becomes very easy to figure out that no captor would allow her to edit her own videos.
We're trying to be "smart" because everyone's getting riled up and acting nuts over something that's clearly a woman taking advantage of peoples' concerns for her and playing on them to get more views.
@@michaelmeier1897i don't think shes being held hostage. however, she definitely has a really bad case of bulimia. theres no denying it. the losing teeth, bruises, extremely fast eating, and the panic to eat faster is all signs of being bulimic. i've seen songbyrd's race videos where she does the same things and theyre very similar to one another. both dont gain weight even though they eat a lot of food, both treat eating like a life or death situation , both sometimes show up with weird marks on their skin, and both have extreme dental issues.

If this is acting, then I believe this may be a strange ARG of sorts. If not then here is my explanation:
I think the looking at spots in the house could be because she may have pets, same with table/camera shaking and possibly some of the voices that visibly weren't from her. The table shaking could also be her bouncing her leg, though I can't say same with the camera since it would've shaken other times that the table shook. I believe the calls for help could be because, as many commenters have stated, she seems to have an eating disorder.
And as a note on the bruises, people can bruise randomly. I have EDS (Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome), I used to have an eating disorder though I thankfully do not have one anymore and gl to those who have an ED and want to or are recovering

I don't think she is kidnapped but in an abusive relationship with someone who is making her do this. It explains how she is able to edit the videos and how we hear someone taking to her as well as her reaction to when the table is moved.
