yo, love Balatro! admittedly some of the slay the spire games (especially the dual class ones the other modded ones are great) have been feeling a bit samey. i think you're at your best when you're exploring something new

As a heads up, Hack can be super busted especially with Fibonacci. The +8 multiplier for 2, 3, and 5 gets doubled for each card. Add in the doubling of glass cards, bonus chips on cards, and bonus mult and the score can get out of hand real quick.

I picked this game up at the start of a 3 day weekend and ended up putting like 22 hours into it without realizing.
The game is absurdly good, and I expect it to get more interesting as I learn it better.

the full house on the 3200 small blind was painful because three of a kind (50x5) was just better than full house (40x4) due to the upgrade, also jsyk, 5 of a kind is a possible hand as well as flush house
Wasn't painful at all, the hand Roffle played was better. Having five scoring cards (total chip value 43 + 40 = 83) was better than three scoring cards (total chip value 27 + 50 = 77), and having a Queen as the high card remaining in hand instead of an 8 meant that the Raised Fist more than made up the difference in mult.
I didn't know there were so many interesting card games

Not sure if it would've actually been the right play considering how little time there was left to stack the deck with low cards, but Hack + Fibonacci seems like it could end up getting pretty silly.
If you can get those jokers with some red seal cards on the appropriate cards it can get off the wall.
Super fun game, quick question, where do I send my lawsuit to Roffle for sleep deprivation? Sure, he warned me of the risks, but I don't think he was quite emphatic enough about how quickly this game makes 5AM happen.

It's a shame they made this into a poker game. I've never been interested in poker but this game looks solid. Don't want to put the effort into learning poker though
there are 10 types of poker hands. there are 11 classes in hearthstone. i believe that you can figure it out
"Poker hands fall into one of 10 categories. The highest is a royal flush, followed by a straight flush, then four of a kind, a full house, a flush, a straight, three of a kind, two pair, one pair, and finally a high card."
It's not poker, but knowledge of the poker hands helps. You'll learn that quickly.
