You know, there are comments saying this is shit because of how it was "mixed", but I think it's intentional and that's what I love about it. It's different and has that "lo-fi" feel. If it had that clean mix every melodic dubstep had, it would kinda be forgettable and would just another throwaway melodic track imo. Basically: Enough melody to make it sound relaxing, enough roughness to make it stand out.

Solo showed a big departure from Getter's old style... it was the first song that legitimately impressed me out of anything he produced. I'm overjoyed to see he'll be keeping that up with this new album. Caution: more opinions below.
To me, if I have to describe what I thought of Getter's music, it feels like before he was just trying to be this funnyman; that everything he did was for a laugh or done as a joke, like he didn't really care about what he was doing. This feels a lot more real, a lot more genuine than a lot of his older music, and I'm happy that he's doing this instead of the trap and brostep that he used to make.

Agreed. He still makes a lot of jokes but I feel like that's a part of any artist's career. Once you start to come up it's easy to get caught up in the hilarity.
Perhaps others on Slyvll who have grown to prominence over the last 5 years will experience a similar transformation.
