@@slowazzd2165 But hey, the original comment didn’t hurt anyone now did it? If being vocal about their thoughts make them happy then so be it. Last time I check this isn’t Twitter, people can take some random comments. Hope this helps, have a nice day.
I'd happily spend £5 a pop on each of these, as that seems like what they're worth. They're just magnets at the end of the day. But they seem like a waste of points to me. Not something I need or strongly desire to have though, so it's no loss to me. Still, it's cool to know they exist.
The amount of points needed for just one is too much. And not being able to redeem them all together at once hurts the motivation even further, since it involves even more spending on the postage costs (if you don't want to hit to threshold that negates the delivery charge). I agree with the conclusion, I'll just stick with a straight discount. The equivalent of almost £15/$15/€15 worth of discount points for one magnet is too much. And almost 45 for all three? I'd rather just get another set or few instead, effectively for free almost.
Meh… they keep trying to make up rules and gimicks like these to trick you into spending your points on anything other than the vouchers to spend on the store, don’t fall for it, just keep saving them and redeem them for the gift cards! This whole concept was born out of them not wanting people to save their points towards sets. There have been a handful of minor exceptions such as exclusive sets or minifigs or even certain collectibles like the coins but those become rarer as time goes by and are always grossly overpriced; I wish they would bring back when we could just apply all of our points on an order at checkout regardless of the amount, down to the pennies😊
My sister mentioned double VIP points as an excuse to go to the Lego Store, and my parents asked, "What do you even use points for?" A valid question, considering I've been hording mine and haven't used them at all. Personally, if I saw these at physical Lego Store locations, I'd consider getting them. My local store doesn't really have much for merchandise though. It's all sets these days.
These magnets are awesome! However, like the micro Ninjago city sets they should be widely available for $10-$25 and not be only available with insiders points. Leog has to to stip doing this. Even a GWP is better 4:45 I agree, in most cases that's true
they're super cute! i wish they were purchaseable instead of points only though. if lego deciding to make magnets is a result of that products poll from a while back, then i'm hoping the lego ghost lamp will come true as well 👀
Can’t say these are worth it, but I think it is great that you reviewed these to challenge yourself with something so simple in a full video. If I did it, my video would be super short😄.
I could see myself buying this on a whim for 8€ at checkout in a LEGO store or something but 2250 points? That's even more than the Lego HP magnets (10€), and they appear to be a lot smaller.
Wow $15 for these and they “force” you to make three different purchase to get them all. Easy pass for me. It just screams greedy corporate BS to milk its fans to me.
You call these high quality metal products, but in reality these are cheap tin casted bases + stamped sheet metal plates + enamel painted tin casted fridge magnets made in a sweatshop in China. Certainly not something worth 15€ of hard earned VIP points. The 5 different medallions cost half and were larger/heavier than these.
I have a feeling people will be buying these on ebay, to save their points. (I’ll probably be getting one for my display anyways, I think they are pretty cool.)
Interesting how they are Made In China products. The one base looks like the hole wasn't properly shaved down. The poor coating job isn't a huge surprise with the poor quality control at Chinese factories. Kind of funny LEGO sent a few poor examples to a former employee. I do like the idea of the magnets. That "price" is pretty steep tho. Hopefully they do more, but they actually sell those new ones as normal product (for like $10 USD) instead of hidden behind points.
That'd probably work. Instead of the metal backing, use a magnet with the opposite polarity. The issue would be one that's still flat enough to feel comfortable against your skin.
*So that is yet another product that you cannot buy directly from Lego.* *I will have to wait until an "off-brand" makes a replica of those to buy directly from the manufacturer.*
They look nice, but given the sus quality control and exorbitant price (2250 Insider points => $17.31 for each), this is an easy pass for me.
Considering how much you have to spend to get the points
Why do people always feel the need to announce stuff like this? No one cares if this is a pass for you
I cannot sell my R2D2 metal keychain because the paint is bleeding out of place. My Death Star coin arrived scratched. They are a dead weight not.

eh, nothing i would spend points on as you said but it’s good to know they’re cool!
Right?
they really should have given the three instead of only one for 2250 pts
These feel like $8-$10 products. One for that much is pretty crazy for how many they are.
But then they can't make you make three separate purchases that way
Maybe its nice to place on a square in a city, like a statue.

This lego magnets gave me the best building experience ever

With the prices of legos increasing from year to year, I don’t see myself using my points for these magnets

Never expectinv lego magnets
2X the amount of Points as the Coins, WHY???
They'd make excellent needle minders.

Ordered Classic Space and will get Castle as well. Hoping we get Pirates too!
they're super cute! i wish they were purchaseable instead of points only though. if lego deciding to make magnets is a result of that products poll from a while back, then i'm hoping the lego ghost lamp will come true as well 👀
The big question, will they release an M-Tron magnet?
And the Blacktron magnet will probably look nice next to the Deku tree
Bro I actually thought he was about to say 2250 dollars I gasped so hard.

You laugh now but these will be worth a rare fortune someday in the future.
I wasn’t going to get these - will do now after your review Tiago … 👍 BTW great idea with the magnets 🎉
Oh no!! :P

Yeah, this seems like the kind of thing I'd easily add on to a purchase to hit a GWP threshold. I've gotten a few small Creator sets that way.
These look amazing great review 👍
If you had to pick between Hogwarts™ Castle and Grounds & Notre-Dame de Paris, which one will you pick?
Why Royal Knights? Is there nostalgia for that series?
I would pay good money for a space logo hoodie
Hey what’s the best set in your opinion
These seem as much of a cash grab as the coins
I wonder why they don't advertise the stands on the redeem page.
They should make the UFO or Exploriens magnets
I was thinking the Octan logo.
Wow $15 for these and they “force” you to make three different purchase to get them all. Easy pass for me. It just screams greedy corporate BS to milk its fans to me.
Lego is becoming a toy for rich people........I am done with lego too much lego sets and many way too expensive !
Terrible PPP ratio!!

This screams “how can we get these suckers to throw away their points on items that aren’t Lego.”

Тiago is a Benfica fan confirmed
Nice dude!
I prefer to buy lego when i purchase lego.
im not sure im very cool with the idea of Lego magnets. i mean, what happened to just a normal Lego Set?
Interesting how they are Made In China products. The one base looks like the hole wasn't properly shaved down. The poor coating job isn't a huge surprise with the poor quality control at Chinese factories. Kind of funny LEGO sent a few poor examples to a former employee.

Excited for the new Jaws set?
Omg, im under 1000 views? Wow, anyway, I got the scaled-up Lego minifigure :) gonna build it tomorrow
That's an awesome one!
iI only the shield would have been black falcon, forestmen or wolfpack, because,...seriously,..who cares about the "royal knights" castle theme!?
I agree. The choice of Castle faction was a poor one.
4:35 Use a stronger magnet to stick to clothes better.
That'd probably work. Instead of the metal backing, use a magnet with the opposite polarity. The issue would be one that's still flat enough to feel comfortable against your skin.
Frankly my dear, I don’t give a damn (about these). Just objects to collect for collecting’s sake. Not my thing.
When you're going to review the new ninjago sets
I probably won't!
*So that is yet another product that you cannot buy directly from Lego.*
*I will have to wait until an "off-brand" makes a replica of those to buy directly from the manufacturer.*
lets go
>the price of these are high and the threshold is as well
>now with the boring stuff out of the way
come on, they're magnets
e
Lego bad set since few month. Bad gift
it's not a duck, it's a mallard
Mallards ARE ducks?
I guess LEGO got it wrong all those years ago
