I hired a professional mitigator. The result was testing in detail and finally putting a system in place that moved the air out of the basement and above the roofline in the house. It has been operating for about 15 years.
Sorry. Mine continues to work and I never encountered your issue. If you reset to factory and changed batteries, I don't know what is next. Have you contacted the company?
@@lostinthe60s Thanks, the unit I bought looks like is still going through calibration process and it has been 18 hours. I hope the unit I bought is not a bad one :-(
What spreadsheet program are you using. Is that an IPad?
I created an Excel spreadsheet. Used my Microsoft Surface Pro 7
Does this product need to be calibrated periodically?
I have moved it around different areas since I've had it. Each time, i reset it. Not sure if that is a calibration but that is what I've been doing.
Hi from Spain!!!
Can you describe the actions taken in orden yo mitigate the radón? So many thanks

@@lostinthe60s the First of all, thanks for your response. Can you tell us the model of the system you have to mitigate the radón?
Ours keeps reading all 8888 and we have reset it a few times. It’s only 3 months old and yes we changed the batteries. Any suggestions? Thank you

Mine does not move off of day 1 and it's been on for a week ?
Hmm. Not sure. Maybe reset the device. I just went and checked mine and seems to be doing well.
How much time did your unit take to calibrate?
Its been awhile now and I don't quite remember. So sorry. I don't want to give you wrong info so rather not guess.

@@kpsher367 oh, I do think it took one or two days
@@lostinthe60s It took less then 21 hours to calibrate and read radon level but finally it worked.
@@kpsher367 Outstanding. Enjoy
Thank you so much!
You are very welcome. Have a great day.
Please skip the first half about 6 min which are nothing related to how to use it.
Thank you. I'll keep this in mind in the future. Have a great day!
Thank you for taking time out of your day to explain this to folks that don't "appreciate" the fact that you did so!
