Thank you for explaining all the different tests as I had one company use a DIY and another use one of those speedy nice ones… which I assume are more efficient?
I'm thinking about testing my apartment because I'm not feeling too well and just try to rule out possible problematic things. I really don't want to go there with my landlord about that all things considered. I can't even get a decent ac out of them. I hope my suspicions are wrong though.
It's a good idea to test your apartment for radon, @patb.1633. If your wellbeing is not at best, it's important to investigate potential causes. Radon is a colorless, odorless gas that can be harmful to your health. Testing your apartment will help you determine if radon is a factor. If you find high levels of radon, you can discuss the issue with your landlord and request that they take steps to mitigate the problem.
What is the point of a 2 day test? When we tested my workplace it happened to be during a lull for 2 days (below 100 MBq), then it shot upto over 1000 (avg 2800) for the next 2 months. If it had been a 2 day test I might be dead now!
It's a common sentiment, right? Many of us often wonder why the things we perceive as "the good stuff" are often expensive and seemingly out of reach for the average person. The truth is, there are various factors that contribute to this phenomenon. Quality often comes with a price, as producing something of high caliber requires skilled labor, superior materials, and meticulous attention to detail. Appreciate your feedback though!

Hi, we highly suggest for you to have a radon expert do the test - saves you more time and have your mitigation solutions ready!
@@RadonDefense they were both radon experts.. I found it odd for one to us a DIY.

Radon doesn't exist in apartments or any other living place of rent, it only exist in single family homes, particularly if you own it.
Yeah, it was 2.2 or so. Got it from a kit bought in the hardware store.
