These are my favorite kind of updates. All kinds of changes and events summarized within a 5-10 minute video. Sure, some of us were there to watch the stream but language barrier sometimes, misunderstanding of the perks we got, or the stream is too long and instead of going through 45 minutes (HSR is that long for example) we can get a neat summary through other avid fans. I appreciate this and welcome them. You have no idea how often I return back to these to make sure I don't miss anything or utilizing the useful changes.

I have a question, where is the update to the main story Instead we get a story with Jane Doe (I like Jane Doe very much) who has contributed nothing at all to the worldbuilding, main story etc.! NOT even to the story within the story that was told. It was nice to run around with you and what not! The part was far too long, the siblings weren't dealt with at all and when they were, they were only peripheral phenomena that didn't even contribute to the plot. This is by far the worst update so far regarding the world building and the main story (because there was none) And most probably only because a few whiners want to run through the overworld with other characters even though they have no business in the overworld as they are only NPCs. If the part with Jane hadn't been so long and unnecessarily drawn out, it would have been okay, but you've wasted your time just traipsing around with her and not changing anything technically that has a major impact on the overall story. Basically it was something that could have been put into one of those character stories that you can play and that's where it belonged, not as a big new feature for the new version! It was fun for a few minutes but I ended up skipping the entire dialog because it wasn't relevant to the overall story at all! If you had at least split the story and included the siblings, the first half would have been us playing Jane and the second half seeing her colleagues trying to save her and her colleagues with the help of the siblings. That would have felt a lot more natural than what we got at the end as a special story part!
I had the exact same feeling! I was expecting us (Belle/Wise) to actually get involved with them especially since even in the launch patch we only ever interacted with NEPS as a little intermission between the cunning hares and victoria housekeeping. And if Sons of Calydon are coming in patch 1.2 with their story it kinds feels like NEPS will fade into obscurity... My only hope is that when they do decide to bring Lighter into the story it's an actual proper story and not just "Hey look how cool lighter is, don't you want to pull for him now?"

@@Shanaha First of all, it's cool that you see it the same way I do. Secondly, I'm a bit surprised because I've probably only attracted attention here with critical comments so far? But I never really meant them in a bad way, but rather as constructive criticism and only meant them that way. As I said before, there were often comments that people really wanted to play the other characters in the world and that's how it was communicated in the livestream, that they ONLY did it with Jane because there were these complaints. Whether that's true or not, whether it's really the way they say it is, I'll just leave it at that. Everyone can form their own opinion. For me, the story felt more like a character story that you can otherwise play in the form of these cassettes related to the respective characters. Except that they cut it down a bit, i.e. they cut out the twins completely. As I said, what we experienced there was actually completely useless in terms of story and, as you pointed out, felt more like it was a kind of promotional level to make Jaden even more palatable to people. And to focus on her extremely elaborate hip animations because unlike other characters, she seems to have put extra emphasis on her butt cheeks moving nicely with every step. I've never seen that with other characters, that the (sorry) ass moves so intensely, to put it bluntly! They should have just integrated it better into the main story, where you have a certain section where you strut around with our dear Jene, but not exclusively focus on it in the level. For me it was just a Jane Doe walking simulator. It hurts to say that, because I really like her as a character, but this level or this story section didn't really contribute anything, nothing at all, neither to the story itself nor to any story at all. It would probably have been a lot more interesting to see how the others try to save their comrades outside the criminal den. I pull for both Qingyi as well as Jane Doe. Since I am a character collector and that is the main focus of why I pulp and less from a damage focused point of view or usability. As soon as I like a character visually as well as the personality that is drawn, I try to get it regardless of its strength level or how useful it could be from a playful point of view.
