Hello. I bought one of these didnt antennas for my samsung tv. I dont have a cable box regularly. I tried scanning for channels and says it was added. However is there a way to just see the channels it added? I cant see a live tv guide only the tv plus part. Thanks
Hello, my sincerest apologies for the late reply. Unfortunately I don't see all the comments that are posted on my videos (they often go to a 'held for review' folder for some weird reason). Here's what I can tell you about your question. Pressing the home button on the remote and selecting the 'Live TV' option will being up the options 'Live TV Setup', 'Guide', and 'Channel List'. Channel List brings up the channel list and some editing options (ie: to delete some channels). On my TV the broadcast channels that were scanned in appear in this list. My particular Samsung TV does not have Samsung TV Plus (it's an older model), so only the broadcast channels appear in the list. Hope this information helps, and again, sorry for the late reply.
You must select the ‘Live TV’ option from the menu at the bottom of the home screen first, then’Broadcasting’ will be selectable from the Settings menu.
I hope you get a lot more channels than I do. I actually only get 3 over the air channels here. It’s because I live in an isolated Canadian city, also too far to pick up US TV stations. 3 channels is all we have in my area. Plus, OTA television is a complete afterthought in Canada. Thanks for watching!
@@southeastd.c5636 Yes, I made a video about that service. But this Samsung TV I have doesn’t have it. Only certain models do. There are many services that offer free live streaming channels: Roku, Pluto, Tubi, etc.; lots of free content available!
Press the Home button. Select the ‘Live TV’ app, then you will see the Guide button appear on the left side of the screen. Scroll up and select it- the EPG guide will appear.
@@dennisfinan7977 Try placing the antenna in a window. Try placing the antenna up higher if possible. Run a channel scan each time you move the antenna to a new spot. Try this website to find where the broadcast towers are located in your area to give you an idea of which direction to point the antenna: www.antennaweb.org/ Enter your zip code. Click ‘antenna will be installed 30 feet above ground’- this will give you a better listing of available channels. Press ‘go’. Let me know how it goes.
@@NorthcoasterHobby gladly! 👍🏽 But I need a better amplified antenna! The one I have is just picking up 6 channels. Have trees all around this place. Need to install an outdoor setup pointed into an open area.
@@davidmazza8714 Yes, definitely try to place the antenna away from trees or other obstructions and facing away from the broadcast tower. Generally, a larger antenna with more elements will work better than a smaller antenna. Approximately how far away from the broadcast towers are you situated?

Auto program, says function not available.
You might need to select antenna instead of cable in the settings.
Same for me
Thanks for the help 😊
The Live TV app doesn't appear after scanning...any help? Thanks for the great video nonetheless.
Do you mean Samsung TV Plus? Not all Samsung smart TV’s are equipped for it. This model doesn’t have it either.
The Samsung TV Plus is still there, but not the blue Live TV app you go to after scanning...@1:08 @@NorthcoasterHobby

It finally appeared after shutting the TV off a few times. I only got five new channels, but at least it's working. Thanks again.@@NorthcoasterHobby

What if "Broadcasting" is greyed out so I can't select it?

Why do you only get like 20 local channels after scanning Air Tv?
