    Since watching your videos with these vines I have now purchased some seeds and I'm awaiting their arrival. I'm going to put some in hanging baskets as well as against a trellis. I'm really hoping that I get good germination and happy healthy plants. Thank you for introducing me to this vine. 😊

    • @GardeningUpbeat
      @GardeningUpbeat  3 года назад +2

      @s p, Glad to know it's available in UK too 😊😊 Sure, they would germinate well and they actually grow quite easily. Please also note, they are expert in self-seeding and in my place, they almost grow like weeds (produce lots of seedpods and I was tried while deadheading). Last year, they grew here and there in many pots and in those pots I had some other flowering plants. Sadly, I had to pull out many of those as I didn't have more space for them. Wish you all the best and I know they would bloom well for you 😊😊

      The vines are very delicate. Do you want something for them to crawl on. I have a windmill the Barb bars on it are pretty good size. So they have plenty of room to wrap around. I live in Missouri. I have a 5 foot round garden of nothing but thisVine. When the winter comes I just bury the dead vine in the seeds underground. And it comes back in the summer. Good luck on yours.
