My Plan to pour finally happened. Emotionally I have not been feeling it. But I broke those walls down today and gave it a go. I also wanted to update you all on my appt with Dana Farber.
Today I wanted to give a try at Tidal Pool again. There is a big difference in the outcome. The Under the Sea style straight pour acrylic pour did not come out the way the other two had. There were a couple of differences but the main factor is the Floetrol. The floetrol has to be the right consistency.

Sarah, we hope you are doing wonderful. I would have that by now you would have known something. You are thought of every day by me and I cannot thank you enough for starting me on this painting journey. Of course this painting, or at least the one you are going for, is one I have memorized, since I've seen each of your videos at least 2 times, many of them three or more. The first time I ever got clouds I was so excited! I sent pictures of it to my sister and my daughters! How silly of me. There is not telling how many painters you have gotten started and taught into this madness! You are loved so much. Before I heard the ducks, I was going to question you about them in these comments. I'm glad that you have kept them. My girls had some white ducks when they were little (named duck one and duck two) and we had a local tiny zoo in our town and so we took them there and let them loose on the lagoon they had. There were already quite a few so we were hoping they would be accepted by the other ducks there. Please keep us posted on your health situation. We care so much!

You sounded a little disappointed in this pour. Just because it didn't come out like your previous ones doesn't mean it's any less spectacular. I love this piece!!! It's so different and there's so much to see. All your colors came through very nicely.

When I was a little girl we had a pet duck. Her name was "Peaches". When she got older we took her to Golden Gate Park in San Francisco a's and released her in the duck pond so she could live out the rest of her life with friends.🥰

Sarah, OMG, those cells in the white center are awesome!! I'm sorry your Floetrol is thin. Even so, you were able to stretch this to a pretty composition. Thank goodness for Liquitex Medium! Don't worry about painting. We'll happily rewatch your videos for a couple of months. It will all work out for you. Gosh, it cheered me up to hear the ducks; I've missed their happy chatter. I love this, nice to see you, everything will work out awesome in a nut shell, i fought breast cancer, Septic shock, died twice, have renal failure 1 kidney down all good, raising 3 grandchildren, that was all in 2015, now fighting colon cancer and rectal cancer with my hubby, knowing what's wrong is half the battle, love, love love Dana Farber ist. prayers to you girlfriend

Dear Sarah, wishing you nothing but the best. I hope that hearing from so many of us that have been through a cancer journey gives you some comfort. I remember when I was first diagnosed I immediately when to catastrophising. I also went into panic about my son. My unsolicited :) advice is take one day at a time! And don't eat your favorite foods until this is all over with :)

That turned out amazing considering the runny Floetrol!! Just beautiful!! I got a runny jug and basically tossed it after wasting a tone of supplies trying to thicken it. No matter how much paint I added, or Liquitex pouring medium, no good. All the colors blended on the canvas and it remained drippy. So, brava for achieving this painting. It really did turn out pretty. You will be in my prayers. Many hugs and blessings to you, Sarah!

This is not about me but I want to give you encouragement. I'm 59, when I was 20 the same thing happened to me, Dr. found a big mass on my right ovary. I had surgery to remove the mass and it was the size of a grapefruit and wrapped around my ovary and tube so both of them were removed. It was benign! I'm praying for you and will send you love and healing energy. much love to you!

Dear Sarah I did not know you were going through such a health crisis. Strangely I have come to pouring and watching your videos because of my own health issues. I have been off work for a year and being creative again has saved me mentally. Some advice, let simple things cheer you like nature, joy in your animals, quiet and stillness without guilt. You will get through this and thank you for all your beautiful art, it has helped me. Sending you strength.❤️
