- Okay, it's time to be a little emotional ahah...
I was going to make this animatic for Game Theory anniversary but when I saw the latest video where MatPat announces that he's leaving... well, I wanted to make it before he leaves. I was crying throughout the whole video.
Game Theory was AND STILL IS one of my comfort channels ever since I moved to a different country when I was 13. I didn't have friends, I didn't have anything. But I had this show. I had Mat screaming "It's just a theory!" in my ear for the last 8 years. Time flies fast, huh?
Granpat deserves a break. If he's reading this - Thanks for ruining my childhood and making my lonely teenage years a bit brighter.
I hope you'll get the rest you deserve... but that's just a theory ;)

@@Blue-ql4gs I did actually get to watch it - it feels sad that Mat’s leaving, the end of what’s been for so long, but I’m so excited for what’s coming. Being at this consistent insane schedule of doing 4 channels a week plus GTLive must be so stressful, and with all the creative projects and just family time he has planned, I’m happy that this is what’s happening. I’m glad that in the midst of all this he’s leaving on a high note doing what he wants to do.

Maybe it’s because it’s 10 o’clock in the evening, maybe it’s because I know how much MatPat means to so many people. It’s definitely because I’m a naturally emotional person, but that moment in the bridge absolutely broke me.

This got me crying all over again. I was obsessed with this song as soon as it dropped, so to see it turned into an animatic is just stunning. And it's so perfect considering Matpat's retirement. What a send off. Love this to bits 🫶

Random Encounters is making a new fnaf the musical and mat is making an appearance and I am very excited. Completely recommend the series and the songs are 10/10

Matpat was a wonderful dude, heh he was the first person I heard on the internet it’s been 6 years, thank you. And thank you for making an animation on this song! I miss him already. He’s the only reason I took deep drives into lore. Why I would spend hours and hours looking for lore in games, books, etc. But I understand and respect his decision.
