    Wow. A 10th grader with two and-a-half years remaining in high school. He ran through the 400 mark at 48.8. Amazing.

      My opinion, he’s running like this skip that NCAA career it’s pointless. Get your degree through going through virtual/ online classes and turn pro.

    When a young phenom has consistently shown improvement in his event(s) by posting" eye-popping times " over the last😮 two years,the U.S.TRACK & FIELD ORGANIZATION should become increasingly involved in overseeing the development of a future Olympian,if he or she so desires, as other countries around the world do to further develop,nurture,and improve physically OUTSTANDING talent.This youngster IS UNDOUBTEDLY JUST SUCH A " TALENT!"👏😊

    I think the 800 will be where he has the best chance to break a world record

    • @blainenewton7188
      @blainenewton7188 7 месяцев назад

      It's hard to tell, but I can't disagree. He already has sub 21 second 200m speed, and he just won an 800m in 1:50, probably with very little volume training. If he were to run a couple more 800m's this year, I think he would have a decent chance to break the all time HS 800m record, just on sheer talent alone.

    There is no need for this kid to run in college, unless he decides to run anything longer than 400m. College would only help him get some exposure to running in a group of 800m with all the bumping and grinding, but even then, do what Sumner did - one and done.
