When a young phenom has consistently shown improvement in his event(s) by posting" eye-popping times " over the last😮 two years, the U.S.TRACK & FIELD ORGANIZATION should become increasingly involved in overseeing the development of a future Olympian,if he or she so desires, as other countries around the world do to further develop, nurture, and improve physically OUTSTANDING talent. This youngster IS UNDOUBTEDLY JUST SUCH A " TALENT!"👏😊
This kid is going to be fun to watch. Let's hope he stays motivated and injury free, because the sky is the limit for him. Couldn't happen to a nicer kid, either!
It's hard to tell, but I can't disagree. He already has sub 21 second 200m speed, and he just won an 800m in 1:50, probably with very little volume training. If he were to run a couple more 800m's this year, I think he would have a decent chance to break the all time HS 800m record, just on sheer talent alone.
There is no need for this kid to run in college, unless he decides to run anything longer than 400m. College would only help him get some exposure to running in a group of 800m with all the bumping and grinding, but even then, do what Sumner did - one and done.

Wow. A 10th grader with two and-a-half years remaining in high school. He ran through the 400 mark at 48.8. Amazing.
And 100+ yards!
indoors too. Freakin crazy
My opinion, he’s running like this skip that NCAA career it’s pointless. Get your degree through going through virtual/ online classes and turn pro.
This kids going places
He’s a 44 guy next year
Hope he's able to make the transition from HS to NCAA to Pro seamlessly when the time comes🤞
He might just go pro, not pass go nor collect $200.00. That's what Erriyon Knighton did.
same with lyles
@@vernonfrance2974now hes a gold medal winner

I didn’t know they had a 500 but what an exciting race
He fixed his form too
What a talent!
Love track & field 😊
I think the 800 will be where he has the best chance to break a world record

It’s just a matter of time before he goes 59 seconds
All running records are a matter of time.
0.02 seconds off the national record of a senior as a sophomore early in the season is crazy
Damn he def had that in him too
Crazy
I love that he runs through the tape! He's a phenom!

HS T&F is back 😢
How old is he? Didn’t we see this same thing from that Florida kid. Can’t think of his name but he ended up in big trouble.
They just said his name. Tyrese cooper.
What’s gonna be his main event when he hits the pros ? 400?
Maybe... or maybe 400m/800m even. These things have a way of working themselves out
Any relation to wvu legend Quincy Wilson and also Raiders HOFer Tim Brown? Lol
Jonathan Simms out of Texas is faster
quincy beat him 2 weeks after you said this
Ken Lovery runs 59,72 s in the 80s the 500m
