Today on the farm we'll be "running and gunning" getting stuff done on the farm. We have 80 tons of gravel coming out to the farm....we'll talk about the honey bees....road building...tree planting and more!! Real world real life building the farm!! Josh why don’t you attach a pulley to the top of your pole ? Then add about of 50 foot clothesline rope with snap hooks to hold your flags in place, and a small bout cleat fasten to your pole, to tie off your rope to at the bottom

DID , you put down ground clothe , before you started dumping gravel ? It helps prevent the rock from being forced into the clay . Cloth allows rain to pass through and be absorbed into the top soil .

As a old ford guy,i'd love to have that truck....you really got a steal.
Good communication is important. Repetition and asking the contractor to repeat back to you what you want is important, too. I've had issues with contractors not doing what I told them, even though I thought they were listening. I'm sure I'm not alone in this.
Of course, my biggest problems came from assuming they knew what they were doing.

We got one truck. A 2014 Ram 1500. It’s the farm truck, daily driver, and family vehicle.

I only had one truck. It was brand new and it was used for everything around the farm from day one. The truck got scratches all over the bed.
I'll bet we had to add 6 inches or more and 20+ years before our mud track became a solid road. I remember dad's car bottoming out when I was a youngster

You should have a 100 truck call out on the farm, sign up the first 100 trucks at $100 a piece, start on Friday, let them camp overnight, get 2 food trucks to serve breakfast on Saturday morning and cut em all loose at 3pm after you pick the best truck and best camp site.
Hey Josh this is Sissa. I recently took classes on becoming a bee keeper myself because I’m interested in starting my own colony. One thing that sticks in my mind about that class is the varroa mite. Have you checked your colonies for it? Your colonies look like they should have been big and strong enough to survive the winter. Another thing they taught us was to leave enough honey in the hive for them to eat during the winter and/or put sugar water out for them to be able to get to so they don’t starve. Just some ideas that went through my mind when we watched your video. Hope they help.

Have you thought about putting down fabric before the rock? Keeps the rock from going into the clay. We've done 3/4" Rosewood stone as a base at my buddy's place in the Laurel Highlands. Worked pretty well!
