Not at all. BK Nuts and Bolts had you fighting Grunty in multiple levels. You fight Capital B 4 times in the same level as part of an evolving boss fight. There are also no check points, so if you die (which will happen over, and over, and over) you're required to start the whole 25 minute level over again.
I know this is an old comment, but in case you still hadn't figured it out or played the game yet, there are no real bosses throughout most of the game. All of these bosses are in the final level: the titular impossible lair that can be beaten any time. However you'll need to beat all the levels first if you want to have a chance at surviving.
It would actually be a better move to integrate Banjo and Kazooie into Yooka and Laylee's Game series as Retired Advisors and Grunty as the head of V.I.L.E.

Nikki Roessler oh yeah well I recently learned if you reach the secret ending it’s revealed that this 2nd game’s entire story is actually made up by layee but turns real through a mysterious stranger that give her magic ink so I think that both Dr. Quack and Capital B are still trapped inside the book and hopefully both this game’s “fake” storyline/characters, V.I.L.E, the Stranger, and the actual Capital B and Dr. Quack will play a bigger role in the next game.

It is quite obvious how they resemble the bossfights in Retro's DKC Games.
Playtonic is the modern Rareware after all, the DKC team works there now
