I had the same issue with the left light. In my case problem was not a connector, yep I tried to press the connector towards the light body and it helped but as I figured out later cause of that is the microchip on the board. It has 8 pins (4 on each side) and because the board is super weird form and pins are soldered in the direction of its flexes so 10 years took theirs :) I needed to melt the plastic to remove the board then resolder that microchip and now it seems to be working fine. Leave a comment if you need more details/photos, I have no idea where to post it so it can be public, share your thoughts. I think it might be useful because I have not seen any how-tos for the f11 tail light disassembly
I'd like to see the photos. You could e.g. put them into a public Google Drive folder. I also read about the problem with the LED controller chip and this is meanwhile the second tail light with this defect. Therefore, I want to try to replace just the chip. I tried to remove some of the plastics with a Dremel, but I can still not get the board out.
Did you got an error light when you replaced it? I changed my headlight with a new one but it had to be programmed in the computer of the car
Good job ! Thanks you very much for this vidéo, now i Can to change my light easily. 👍
It cannot be fixed ?
