    OMG, I am so glad that i have had navigraph and simbrief for as long as I can remember. This new feature is amazing. I can now have takeoff and landing speeds for the Lear 35 .

      Same I could use one for most of the default GA planes in MSFS, G1000/3000/5000 (including the king air with a g1000 mod)

    Just used the performance calculator on a flight from ENGM to EKCH - and it worked super

    I always wonder why I pay for Navigraph and then features like this come up. Hehehe.... Seriously though, Navigraph is an absolute MUST for any sim pilot. I totally forgot about the calculators until I had already taken off for a tran-Atlantic flight in the 788. I'll definitely be looking at it though for landing.

    This will be great for the CRJ drivers as well! Super exciting! I will most likely still use the built in calculators on PMDG and FENIX but will help out a ton with other A/C. Great stuff!! Didn't get a chance to check yet but will this be available in the desktop APP or iPad APP?

    I was hoping for a comparison between the Simbrief and the PMDG EFB take-off calculated figures. Think I'll still use the in-built calculators in the aircraft that have them, but it'll be handy with the FBW for instance.

    • @BritishAvgeek
      @BritishAvgeek  Месяц назад

      The PMDG calculations were 1-2 kts in range of the simbrief ones so very good but if I compare one directly, someone else will say I should have compared another and then we go down the rabbit hole 😅

      @gregabott5583 the Fenix performance calculations are really weird - I don't use them ever

    Nice addition, but CG is necessary for Trim settings. I wonder if that's coming?

    • @BritishAvgeek
      @BritishAvgeek  24 дня назад

      True - the fms will give you that though

  • @BeauVerwijlen
    @BeauVerwijlen Месяц назад

    Too bad they do not include trimsettings for your TOWCG yet! Now you have to calculate the trim on your EFB and if you want to use simbrief you'll need to do a separate calculation for the Vspeeds.
    Since the PMDG EFB gives you all the calculations I'll never use it for that aircraft.
    However, the EFB in the MD-80 is really bad. From now on I'am going to use simbrief for the calculations in that particular aircraft.

    One question. All this info we have created. Will this import into the EFB? Which will in turn , load into the FMC? Would make life very easy. Well done.

    • @BritishAvgeek
      @BritishAvgeek  Месяц назад +1

      It doesn't load into the aircraft from here no, and I'm not sure if they're working on that or not as a future feature either 🫣 it's a cool idea though!

    Good feature, but it would be nice to have different engine config by default (744: GE, RR and PW, and not just RR engines) and also intersection options on takeoff + landing vacate graph on landing.

    • @BritishAvgeek
      @BritishAvgeek  Месяц назад

      Intersection would be good - for now we can manually change this by amending the runway/takeoff length section

    Are there differences between the perf calculator from sim brief and the one from Pmdg?

    • @BritishAvgeek
      @BritishAvgeek  Месяц назад +1

      In only a couple of flights to test it, it was +/- 0-2kts different so very similar indeed

    this is more a question about Newsky, once i have booked a flight do i have to download the simbrief flight plan? or can i go into simbrief and put in the data myself rather than having the newsky app do it for me?

    • @BritishAvgeek
      @BritishAvgeek  Месяц назад +1

      You can book the flight on newsky then go into simbrief and do it manually if you want to... But if you let newsky do it first, you can press the eye icon to view, then edit your flight plan to tweak it to however you want it to be anyway before re-generating and re-importing it into newsky 🙂
