1999 I worked at a movie theatre when I was a kid 16 yo and was talking to the security guard there. I commented on the cool Porsche in the parking lot and the security guard said that it was his car. He told me he sold his factory and businesses, retired with millions, travelled the world, bought the coolest shit and then got bored. He enjoyed working a regular job and talking to people like me instead of sitting in his big mansion bored. And yes it was his car he let me sit in it and turn it on

I’ll probably do more angel investments and that’s about it. More travel. Will never fly economy again but using points you don’t need to. The only thing that changed is pre-exit I would never spend more than $200 on shoes. Now I buy $1000 shoes but still wear $25 tshirts. Lol. Nothing really changes. You’re the same same person with same problems and same challenges just life gets less stressful. I think we need a certain amount of “healthy stress” to be happy. A life without any friction actually sucks.

If i had the cash - i'd get a used Mac and spend the rest on registration fees to sign-up as an Apple iOS Dev so i can upload my "one of a kind" SaaS" Apps to the Apple AppStore - then if i still had $ left; i'd spend the rest on buying ingredients from my closed down restaurant so i can continue my weekly "feed a random family" routine.
Early projects are hard to find but having a good one isn’t that a no brainer to invest, for me it’s a no brainer, low cap, 1, fomo, 2. Research, 3. Decide invest or hold, 4. live your life. If I’m wrong give me advice

I would us the 1000$ and gift it to my childhood friend who has been trying to start his own clothing company and needs funds to get a few different machines and stock to help himself grow and make better items.
I love how they are very rich and wearing a plain shirt and drink costco bottle water. LOL
It actually makes them more ordinary because they don’t stand out at least for everyday casual clothing. It’s easier to blend in rather than place a target on your back like “Hey, I’m rich, steal here”.

If i had the cash - i'd get a used Mac and spend the rest on registration fees to sign-up as an Apple iOS Dev so i can upload my "one of a kind" SaaS" Apps to the Apple AppStore - then if i still had $ left; i'd spend the rest on buying ingredients from my closed down restaurant so i can continue my weekly "feed a random family" routine.

Early projects are hard to find but having a good one isn’t that a no brainer to invest, for me it’s a no brainer, low cap, 1, fomo, 2. Research, 3. Decide invest or hold, 4. live your life.
