That is so great to hear Lona and YES it definitely took a bit to coordinate all of this haha. It really did come together very nicely though, as you can see :) Thanks for watching and hope you subscribed.
Great to hear Bafana and I love how that song feels at the end. Perfect for my videos and glad you feel the same way. Thanks for watching and good luck on your projects.
Wish I had a Geo Ripper when I had to trench for power for my detached shop. Needed to go 2 ft down, by hand and with a broken foot! Good times! Question: is that a flat roof or metal on the client's house? Not much pitch. And why a cone on Stella? Hope she's ok
Ouch! That is some tough work for sure. The client has a pitched roof, just not supper steep. And Stella is just fine. She got fixed so it was to make sure she wasn’t scratching. She already has it off :) thanks for the continued support Dz! Always appreciate it.
Damn, I need to start a RUclips channel to get all my projects funded! Man, that roof is going to be a moss monster if you dont clean it every couple days.
I wish this was my backyard haha! And YEP, here will definitely need to be some roof cleaning on this one. Thanks for watching Joe and hope you enjoyed the video.
Amazing projects as always. This is an expensive box I feel very poor now but I understand the cost of a system like this looks amazing for sure. Would be great also beeing built as a 3 seasons gazebo with fireplace/tv inside and folding doors
This is awesome, and your narration of the key moments really helps the understanding! I was wondering, was it by chance that the 2x10s under the auxbox were located in such a way that won't interfere with the concrete footings? Like when you changed from the original 3 footings to 4 on that side I suppose there was a risk that the supporting 2x10s landed exactly on those. Wonder what you would have to do at that point to safely place it down
It was NOT cheap haha. If we where able to have the crane closer to the drop site it would have only been around $2k. However, because we needed such a large crane to lift it over the house we had to spend over $5k for the crane we used. Thanks for watching Mike and hope you subscribed.
Would the plastic sheathing create a water/mold issue? I figured some heave landscaping fabric would be more applicable, but I'm just an idiot trying to figure this out.
Aux box outrageously expensive. Starting at 28k for 100 sqft. That's $280 per sq foot for a basic shack with no plumbing, no electrical, etc. It's a joke.
Lol I was just thinking this guy could have built it himself IN the back yard. Particularly since he'd shown basic carpentry and measurement skills. Cranes aren't cheap either.
I need to question why your support blocks were not centered on the 16"x16" cement slab blocks. I was taught that this was not the way to place support footings.
Good question Stan and yes in a perfect world the pier block would be perfectly centered on the 16"x16" slab block. However, there are many factors that go into something like this when trying to aline it properly. The slab blocks still provide the same purpose, to more evenly distribute the load to the earth. But in my opinion it is more important to place the pier blocks exactly where I want them vs. having them centered perfectly on the slab block. Hope that makes sense. Thanks for watching no matter what and hope you enjoyed the video.
They basically just used an electrical snake that they run through the tub first and they attached the electrical wire to it. Very easy to pull through after that. Thanks for watching and hope you enjoyed the video.
So, few issues here. I’m not sure that foundation is really adequate, and ya probably should’ve removed the grass along the edges too since nobody is gonna fit back there to mow or trim it, not that it’s gonna get more than a few minutes of sun depending on the directions but I’d hate to see those sides overgrown given how nice the rest of your lawn looks.
Not everyone is confident and skilled enough to build a structure like this obviously. If you have the money and want to save your own time then buying a unit like this is great but if money is the only factor your looking at then I would suggest building it yourself. Thanks for asking Goose.
When you used the trencher, my first thought was, "I have never seen anyone use it like that, where is the cart." Turns out, you just didn't use it at first.
That grass near the fence will become problematic. You should have removed it. Also, might you not want to give yourself a LITTLE bit more access to the fence? They tend to eventually need replacing. I presume you want to leave the new building (which is how you should think of it) intact, right?
Its not a cheap project but its well built thats for sure. I believe the base models are $20k to $25k Canadian. Thanks for watching and hope you enjoyed the video.
BUy a small lot near a lake and drop that puppy on a foundation as such, single bed, bbq, 5 gallon bucket/toilet, tarp, boom, cheapest way to get away to!
I'm totally impressed by the creativity involved in getting this over the house and situated correctly. Wow - the coordination is impressive.
That is so great to hear Lona and YES it definitely took a bit to coordinate all of this haha. It really did come together very nicely though, as you can see :) Thanks for watching and hope you subscribed.
Wow! I am impressed. I can appreciate all the hard work that went into making this project a success. Well done Brent, well done!
Great to hear and thanks so much for all of your support Leah! Really appreciate it :)
I LOVED THE VIDEO! But hearing Miriam Makeba in the background was the icing on the cake!!!!
Love the Mariam Makeba ending backtrack - feeling quite patriotic. Can't wait to start my own projects
Great to hear Bafana and I love how that song feels at the end. Perfect for my videos and glad you feel the same way. Thanks for watching and good luck on your projects.
Love your Corten raised beds
Freakin sweet!!! Great work Brent! Such a big project! Wow.
Great to hear and thanks so much for watching Allyson.
Your friends house looks beautiful!
Right?! So nice and the Auxbox fits the space perfectly. Thanks for watching Goose.
Excellent video well detailed with step by step process. Love the aerial videos too!
Excellent job ! I was so impressed. This was a very good video on how you explained every signal step . Thank you
Always, always great content on your channel! And thanks always for the DIY tips
Great to hear Flouie and thanks so much for subscribing and your support. Its greatly appreciated.

Great to hear and thanks so much for the continued support Sebastian. Ya those are great suggestions. Thanks so much for watching.
Looks great!!
My worry is one jolt from earthquake can throw off the box from foundation it’s sitting on…
No footer to frost depth for those pier blocks? Great video showing all the work
I am so jealous. Great video all around.
Great to hear and thanks so much for watching GR.

Nice way to spend a chunk of change
Great video, could you tell me the cost of the crane to install? Thank you
It was NOT cheap haha. If we where able to have the crane closer to the drop site it would have only been around $2k. However, because we needed such a large crane to lift it over the house we had to spend over $5k for the crane we used. Thanks for watching Mike and hope you subscribed.
Looks fantastic
What's your plan for mowing that strip of lawn you left between the box and the fence?
Would the plastic sheathing create a water/mold issue? I figured some heave landscaping fabric would be more applicable, but I'm just an idiot trying to figure this out.
What type of wood is the porch made of???
What kind of work pants/boots are you wearing?
They are Red Cap Work Pants and Timberland Pro boots. amzn.to/2Ofads0 Love them both and thanks for asking Goose.
Awesome job!
Great to hear Sean and thanks so much for watching!
Awesome! 👍 Thanks for the idea!
That looks pure awesome
Aux box outrageously expensive. Starting at 28k for 100 sqft. That's $280 per sq foot for a basic shack with no plumbing, no electrical, etc. It's a joke.
lmao, I'll just make it myself 😂
That sounds reasonable now with lumber prices lmao
Right? A $280/ft house would have marble and granite everywhere and wolf and subzero appliances.
Lol I was just thinking this guy could have built it himself IN the back yard. Particularly since he'd shown basic carpentry and measurement skills. Cranes aren't cheap either.
wow big work
Very Big haha! Thanks for watching as always Fab.
Great video!
Great to hear! Thanks so much for watching and all your amazing support!
Amazing project!!!
Great to hear Antonio and thanks so much for watching. Hope you subscribed

How did the electrician get the wiring into the empty tube and pull it all the way through to the box?
They basically just used an electrical snake that they run through the tub first and they attached the electrical wire to it. Very easy to pull through after that. Thanks for watching and hope you enjoyed the video.
Great project & execution! Any lessons learned for your next one?

curious what turnkey price was!
Definitely would prefer much bigger windows
What is the benefit of purchasing something like this over building it yourself? Assuming you could build it yourself.
Not everyone is confident and skilled enough to build a structure like this obviously. If you have the money and want to save your own time then buying a unit like this is great but if money is the only factor your looking at then I would suggest building it yourself. Thanks for asking Goose.

Where do I go to buy a office box?
Looks awesome! How long did the install process take? Great footage btw and walk through on explaining the process :)
Great to hear Robert and thanks so much for watching. The crane portion only took around 4 hours but the hole project took about a week on my end.
Thanks for watching and all the support.
are you going to add a roof?
That grass near the fence will become problematic. You should have removed it. Also, might you not want to give yourself a LITTLE bit more access to the fence? They tend to eventually need replacing. I presume you want to leave the new building (which is how you should think of it) intact, right?
I might of missed how much this cost? But how much would this run someone price wise?
Its not a cheap project but its well built thats for sure. I believe the base models are $20k to $25k Canadian. Thanks for watching and hope you enjoyed the video.
ho much is the rent for a crane to do that job?
Little dark in there? Might want to pop in a few skylights. 🤙
so cool!
Great to hear and thanks for watching PT!
Is this in Seattle??
What is the size of this Aux Box ??
the shed looks better than my house :\
BUy a small lot near a lake and drop that puppy on a foundation as such, single bed, bbq, 5 gallon bucket/toilet, tarp, boom, cheapest way to get away to!
Now your talkin Steve! haha! Thanks so much for watching and hope you enjoyed the video.
I love the box, but too bad my backyard is not big enough.
Haha! Yep you definitely need a sizable backyard for this one. But they do make smaller sizes just so you know :). Thanks so much for watching Willy.
That's what's she shed, 😉😉
Size of the whole land?
Awesome
Right?! Thanks so much for watching and for actually having the notification bell on haha!
Nice upload. Btw do you know wat BYOT means in Arabic? 😃❤️
out-the-door cost?
100k
Very nice presentation. I really love this building let's be friends thank you.

Starting at $48,800 CAD
Itsthe Miriam Makeba for me
Wow
Thanks so much for watching Tonya. Glad you enjoyed the project and I hope you subscribed
Anyone knows the name of the yellow tool used at 6:24?
A level
$30k for the small office model.. nah I’m good
This whole process and unit looks so expensive.
It’s not a cheap one that for sure but it was an amazing project to be a part of.
You pay for the convenience of also not having a unit constructed the whole time on the property. No disruptions, some people can see value in that!
Don't forget to call 811 when you plan to chainsaw a yard.
Классно сделано, молодец!
Спасибо за просмотр
👍👍
👍
This is not efficient at all. I wonder how many permits were pulled considering this building is on the property line
Price is way to high on aux box
Electricals!

I'm an apartment dweller but still want one! Guess its oculus home time lol
Electricals!
