I'm not sure if this is correct, but I think this song is about someone losing his friends that he loved. At the beginning I see him standing by himself in the rain, rain and a dark setting often signifying a depressed mood. Then, you see each character introduced in the field. I think those might be his other two conscious trying to deal with the loss of his friends. Then, in the sudden blink of an eye you see the man in white thinking about his friends, remembering the old days. He leaves making his way into the forest, trying to deal with his problems but only finds himself lost. The aimless wandered walks into the woods, unable to find an exist.
At the final scene you see his friends crossing the other world. In the movie spirited away and in some asian cultures, there are beliefs that when you die you cross a red bridge; in the same definition hence the expression "crossing the other side".
I do not speak their language, but I dunnno this is what I see when hearing him and the provided visuals in the video.
