I have workbooks for everyone of your books ……..and I still love watching you make them…….your amazing, that’s the name I came up with for you……..Amazing …..lol
I always make a work book. And I have laminated my traceable too. But I have not printed traceable in a while because I usually print straight to digital paper, or pattern papers direct. If I need a traceable I print them ad needed. Mostly to save money printing and secondly time. When I make the work book I'm ready to go. I also go to office depot and for under 4 dollars they will punch and bind my book the same day. Binders work but take up room and I can't fold back the pages to save room on my desk.
I always make a workbook for my templates. It does make creating a lot easier because everything is right there in one place. I typically use a three ring binder with sheet protectors. Thanks for sharing the different ways to make a workbook.
I always find your workbook videos very informative and I do watch them repeatedly. I have made a few of the traceable templates using copy paper and laminating on one side. I find it helps when taping it to the workbook. However, I only use that when there are straight lines so far as I can’t cut properly around decorative edges very well!
Love your videos and projects, but I really appreciate you going through your workbook setup. I have some of the original sets you made, without the workbooks, and they are great, but I love the ease of just being able to grab the project set and workbook and start. Thanks for everything you do! Oh, and I chose to do a hybrid of what you are doing. I print my pages on regular printer paper, then put them in page protectors. But then I still print the templates out on cardstock and attach those to the front of the page protector like you do on the laminated sheet. So I get the removable templates, plus the pocket already made, but I can see and easily get to the templates. Then I use the page protector to store extra pieces for that page of the project. The page protectors aren't as sturdy as the laminated pages, but I figured it was easier for me and if they get raggedy looking or something in the future, I can just replace that one page protector. It's working so far- if I hate it, I can always go ahead and laminate the pages at a later date. Thanks again for all your hard work!
Well, Jen, not using the clear sheets inside the regular paper pages saves time. It’s also faster to use three rings than using a coil or a comb binding and punching lots more holes. But, if I use glassine bags for completed enhancements I will probably go with Cinch/your Zutter. The glassine won’t rip out as easily, I think. My plan is to do the enhancements in a smaller workbook by themselves. Hmmmm. Lots to think about. Glad I caught this video. I could have the guidebook done by the end of the day!
I would not make a journal without making the workbook! It makes everything so much easier and the way you have designed everything it is easy to make. Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful ideas and talents with us!
I put mine together last night. Probably should have waited because you came up with some good suggestions. I really like the laminated pages. They are sturdy & just plain look good. I have been laminating my pages in the past. However, since I don't use them as much as Jen does, it isn't that important that the mats are attached. So this time I just laminated the covers, front & back , and just printed out the books on paper. I bind them & that's it. When I need a page, I will print the ones I need, either on the card stock I am using or on white CS to trace & will save & reuse those pieces. I have all kinds of trouble attaching the mats on the laminated sheets. Either they stick too well or they fall off. I do like the idea of the attached pockets & having examples of the finished product. I'm going to do that for sure.
Loving the new sets! I have to go with 3 ring bindings. I stink doing your way which looks so much better. Binder rings or notebook allows options for added pockets.
Thanks Jennifer ... I make my work books similar, I do use the binder rings and I hang a plastic key tab on the top one that I can write the name of the workbook then instead of laminating I just use page protectors. Works for me. ❤😁
Thanks Jen, I have made all my workbooks with my zutter, laminating sheets and binder wires. Ever since I saw your first video how to make those workbooks. Thank you. You always come up with great alternative ways in case people don't have certain supplies. Your always thinking and coming up with new ways creative ways.
Jen!!! Thank you for all this work you share with us. I have to admit having bags of examples of the finished product has really excited me. Brilliant idea and now I am going to go through all my binders and do this. I'm a visual creator so this step is a game changer, thank you so much.
I absolutely love these new templates and how you make your workbooks! I make mine and put in white binders, works best for my needs. So many great ways to make them! And they really do help to make all my projects easier! Thank you so much Jennifer, you are truly the best! Much love from Nova Scotia.😊❤
I also always use the binding rings to make my work book, but I use chipboard for my front and back covers. I was going to buy a bind it all or some other binding machine, but I find the rings just easier and cheaper. I actually use 4 rings instead of 3 (not sure why), but I have a 2 hole punch and I just use that on each end.
Thanks for sharing how you create your workbooks again. I usually use a binder and page protectors which seems to work for me. Jen, I'm so excited to watch you make these pretty albums!
Jen, I love the ease of making this workbook! I just love the Magical Portrait and the enhancement package!!! I am going to have fun with this one. Love and hugs
I never knew you showed how to create your workbook. I created my own with the Simply Amazing but I love how you do yours. Time to try things a new way 😊 Love how creative you are.
Hi Jen so glad you posted this video I already started making my work book but now it will be even better because it’s going to be the same as yours and I’ll be saving on the different type of paper. Thank you so much. You have a great day. I’m going to have a nap now lol 😂 🦋❤️🦋
Szia Jeny!
Jen I am so looking forward making my work book. I Love everything you do but those 3 little flaps on a page is so cute! Love it! Thank you for all of your hard work!
Very informative video Jen, thank you! I like the three ring method. I’ll be busy downloading and printing my bundle this weekend. Can’t wait to start creating! 🌸🍭

This is a must! Thank you so much for taking the time to show us all the steps again.
Another great video. Having the little bag for examples is a brilliant idea.
I Love making my workbooks . Just printed them off , now i have to put them together.
Thanks for showing another way to bind the workbook. I look forward to seeing you using it while making the projects.
It is definitely worth it to make a work book! I couldn’t work without them! Thank you

The workbooks are a genius idea. I will be making the Simply Magical papers and add-one this weekend. Thank you!

Ok this made me feel way more ready to start!
I use the binder rings and page protectors for my workbooks but I also attach a chipboard front and back cover. It makes the workbook a bit sturdier.
Watching these videos helps me out a lot!
Jen thanks for all your hard work making this projects.
Like this style of workbook. It's simple and functional. What more can you ask for? Awesome!

I like using binders for my workbooks. You can pick them up fairly cheaply from thrift stores.

I have a Heidi Swapp Minc machine, which is essentially, a laminator. It works really well, too.
Love your workbooks! They are amazing and so useful!

Thank you for the tutorial.
Thanks, Jen for all the hard work you do for us. Love them all.
Thank you Jen. This was helpful. Are you printing the traceable templates on 65# or 80 # cardstock?
I might of missed it, what weight of card stock do u use 🤷🏼♀️, thanks ❤️🇨🇦

I use sheet protectors and put them in a binder
Where did you get the glassine envelopes?
Hi Jen I’m new to your channel and how do we get the printables/templates for this journal?
Thank you
Are the little tabs made on 110 pound paper?
I will make this kind of workbook for this templates
Love this video .
Mmmm ok
I am new to jj can you explain what, how, why, this is used for
I’m still trying to figure out how to make my workbook. It takes me a while to work it all out
I'm so confused at 25.00. I thought you were cutting out from Cardstock to use as the template to trace it then onto what you would be using??
Love the templates, but too much work for me,lol.🤗🌻💕
I really don’t like binding clips. They move around too much.
A lot of pages = a lot of ink. Oh my.
Somehow I think I missed this one.
Thank you!
