As, in Beginner and Advanced, time is only added in the transition between levels; in Plus and Extra, time is added every time a ball goes in the hole. This alone causes it to be possible to obtain the perfect score in those modes. If there was not a maximum set time, I feel like this would be a far more interesting game mode.
