‘Struggling’: Melbourne’s property market falling behind

Sky News business editor Ross Greenwood says it is “patently clear” Melbourne and Victoria are “struggling” in regard to the property market.
“Melbourne’s property prices haven’t matched any other capital city since the pandemic,” Mr Greenwood said.
“Buyers in Melbourne have more choice; more apartments were built and the cash-strapped Victoria government jacked up property taxes on investors and second home buyers - forcing some of them to sell.”
