    Why your U value for partition is 0.5 which is otherwise only 0.05 for normal exposed walls. This is resulting in a very high BTUH compared to normal walls

    I think, if we calculated heat gain through roof, then again transmission through celling must not calculate for one story building.

      Yes, if you are calculating heat load for top floor then select roof (for example if building is 3 floor then select ceiling for first and second & for third floor roof)

      For Example - Suppose return air is coming at 75 deg. F from room and going to the cooling coil, then the temperature of air will be 40 deg. F and after passing through cooling coil air will go to the room at 55 deg. F (supply air). This is the Dehumidified temperature rise.
      De. Rise = (1-BF)* (Room DB - ADP) or CF*(Room DB - ADP)
      Where, CF = (1-BF), (CF - Contact Factor)
