thank you for this info! As someone just applying to a masters program in counseling, I’m looking for all the info i can get. My situation is a bit different, - maybe you can offer me some advice? or perhaps there are others who might know. I am interested in practicing in Japan with the expat community and military members to start. During this time I want to do telehealth for America (Florida but other states would be great, too.)
Do you know of any resources for this path? I can’t seem to find anyone who offers supervision for this or internships or licensure/business practice requirements. (as a note, Japan does not regulate foreign mental health licenses)
Sometimes i think i should just apply to schools in Japan but then how does that affect my licensure requirements for America? it’s confusing.
