I remember this and that Jumping Flash! game on PS1 was the kind of 3D platforming we were typically seeing on home consoles before Super Mario 64 came along, so it was no wonder Super Mario 64 was such a revolution when it came out, and not just for the fully 3D game world and relatively well implemented user-controlled camera, but also the full 360 analogue control that the revolutionary N64 controller added to the mix too. Super Mario 64 was where I think we got the first proper tastes of what the future of 3D platforming had in store for us. Still, this Bug! game is an interesting footnote in the history of early 3D home console games.

I kinda miss that era of gaming. Developers were trying out new stuff, being creative and such. Video games have evolved, though I still go back to retro most of the time. And now I see these indie developers making that style of 90s/early 2000s of games. Always put a smile on my face.
