Spark AR was goto platform for me as it was easier and used to get more impression than others, but now we have only one option snap in social AR category as tiktok is already banned in my country, India. Being web developer i think it's never good idea to play in walled garden, you never know what will happen, so thinking to explore Web AR, if Please make video on Web AR. Thankyou
I have used 8th wall for years and built on eof the first games on the new Niantic Studio. I also now build on Mattercraft by Zappar. Both are great. There are a lot of tools out there.
@@ineshilz I have used 8th wall''s cloud editor for about 3.5 years. I am now also using Mattercraft by Zappar and the new Niantic Studio as well. Still looking into Snap's WebAR SDK and a few other smaller products.

thanks for sharing, i have a question, if spark ar will shutting down, the filter effect we have created previously will still be visible on our profile?
For the next gen AR Devices that are coming like the Meta Orion will they use other AR Engines coz now they can do more ? Also what Resources to learn AR/VR Development as a beginner ? Should I be platform focused or learn general stuff
Thanks for the video, am surprised I am not seeing more reactions to this news. I taught myself to make some filters that incorporate my art including a randomizer for my oracle card, now I do not know where to house them or recreate them. Any advice is welcome!
Hi Stephanie, oracle card filter sounds cool 🪐 you could put it on snapchat, tiktok or host it on a website.. we have options, the challenge now is to make it discoverable for people.. i think maybe tiktok would be a good place since they have "subcultures" like #witchtok that would love your filter :)
heyy do you know whether the existing filters ive made will be removed from instagram after the discontinuation of spark ar..? i just watched your tutorial of your card and i wanted to make one myself!
I love your videos and have learned a lot, Thank you very much, indewin. You are amazing! I will switch to using Effect House or Snapchat but will start learning the web. Which Web AR do you think is good? Thanks!
I'm still looking for the best / easiest webAR solution myself, i want to make a more in depth video on some options soon! so far i tried Needle and it worked really well :)
Lens Studio all the way :) Adapting this knowledge to effect house will be super easy bc it's more limited in their features - if your students want to do that later on
