Oh - maybe combination knitting will help me keep my linen stitch projects flatter, and eliminate the "ridge" that sometimes forms if I don't pay special attention to tugging on my purl stitches to ensure they aren't "bigger" than the knit stitches?! Love your tutorials, and appreciate how much time, energy and expertise you put into them!
I am so glad that you did this video. I found combination knitting a while back and just love it. For all those who don’t like purling you will this way and it looks so much better.
This is genius! I have always just pulled my purl stitches after a knit stitch a bit tighter…doesn’t work as well as this to get rid of that extra yarn!🎉
Thanks Andrea! How does combination knitting affect a tubular bind off? Will everything get a twist back first when I do my slipped stitch rows? Do I have to do the Kitchener stitch differently? Thanks!

I think that this is amazing. My friend always does twisted rib. Her mother taught her that way. It's a much neater finish. Thank you so much.

Amazing! Wish I had seen this earlier because I I’ve always struggled trying to make my ribbing neater. Thanks so much for the tutorial!
I've wondered why you would want to combination knit. Thanks for explaining why it's useful in addition to the how!

Great tutorial and explanation of why the twist occurs.
Thank you Andrea ❤
Thank you, Andrea!
This is why I always thought my mum taught me to knit backwards
