Roberto Alagna & June Anderson Lucia di Lammermoor - "Sulla tomba" & "Verranno a te sull'aure"

Very noir production at the Opèra Bastille, Paris 1995, taped by an enterprising audience member, which accounts for the poor quality. The scenery was not well received, at one point - (when the curtain was raised to reveal several triple decker beds) the booing (and yelling) was so bad that it sounded as if several people were dragged out. Alagna & Anderson sing magnificently and manage to negotiate the scenery (and the audience) without actually falling, although later in the opera Alagna has a near miss.
