Fun video. I just got the 2. From what I can tell after watching the two together is the 2 synthesis is smoother. I know whats under the hood and thats no suprise. The 1 presets seem to add quit a Lot of saturation delay and reverb to hid this where the 2 doesn't mask the the signal letting it stand on its own but with a nice pallet to add from start to finish allowing for some very rich full sound spectrums that can compete with the big boys. From what I've heard of the 1 it mostly feels more toylike with a few presets that sound pro. Sometimes I like toy sounds❤ but they are a novelty. The 2 seems to have more journeyman professional applications. Props on the patience to put them side by side!
Yeah you are correct. The new one basically is all leads with some pads and sequences. I dig both of them. I’d just use each one differently is all. Thanks for watching and commenting. Health, hugs, and happiness from Las Vegas. Keytar is life! 🎹🎸🤟
Depends. If you want that effect you can make it happen with a guitar pedal. They do cut when you change tones while playing a note through. So yeah. Thanks for watching and commenting. Hugs, health, and happiness from Las Vegas.
Could you do a video sequencing on your Roland PR-100? You are the only channel that seems to use it and I’m wondering whether or not to buy one. Is it able to sequence other instruments? Thanks for the inspiring and unique content!
I would love to do a video on the Roland PR-100, but I’ve only used it to sequence only one instrument at a time. I basically use it as a synthesizer midi recording device. But yeah I can do a video if you like.
@@ikennamba3655 if you want a cheaper way to sequence a single instrument I’d say use a loop pedal. It records sound and plays it back so you can record layers upon layers. Basically you can play all parts of a band: bass, keys, drums, guitar, etc on a loop pedal without having to sequence on a midi sequencer. It’s totally easier and I wish I had bought a loop pedal before I bought my sequencers. Hope this helps.
@@HenrryMoisesCortesRayo there’s plenty on EBay at some okay prices. Hope you find one for a great price. Hug, health, and happiness from Las Vegas. Keytar is life🎹🎸🤟
I’m really not sure.🤔 Probably can be done when hooked up to the computer and on the Korg Website. I’m the kinda guy who either edit’s patches from the instruments on board menu, or just plain uses guitar pedals as a short cut. Thanks for watching and commenting. Keytar is life🤟🎹 🎸
@@mdmusiz thanks for the info. I only use the presets and sometimes use it as a midi controller. Stay safe and healthy from Las Vegas. Keytar is life🎹🎸🤟
Understandable. We all have different tastes. I’m a fan for leads on a keytar rather than patches and sequences. Thanks for watching and commenting. Keytar is life🎹🎸🤟
I own the Rk100s tbh i dont think there's really any difference between them i suppose you could model the same sound on both of them but out of the box the sounds would differ else they wouldnt know how to sell this thing
Thanks for the great comparison! I’ve not spent a lot of time investigating keytars but this has sparked my curiosity. I appreciate it! 👍🏻😃

I honestly liked the old one because I seemed like it had leads and pads where as the new one is basically all leads. This video was awesome too btw

Hey bro! is there a difference in functions? like using the editor in pc, or transposing? Something like that? Or only sounds?
The editing is the same in both. Awesome question! Keytar is life🎹🎸🤟
Do notes/sounds stop abruptly when changing patches, or can they ring out? Thanks
