The sense of humor that would have to go into putting a multiple-view playback of one of them slipping and falling mid-performance is just an underlying party of the great showmanship dynamic that drew me into their world at first exposure and I've never looked back.

So I am new to the GS fan base and for me the newest era with Angie 1/3 is my favorite, but I have been bouncing all over their history on youtube and came across this. The songs so far have been a lot of fun to watch though I am glad they dropped the 2 dancers and went for less of an IDOL look and appeal in future incarnations. I must say GS has been growing on me and I really am coming to enjoy their talents. I paused the concert to do this reaction post, I am sure there will be more posts about this particular video once I finish it. I stopped it right after "Setsunaku" which I must admit has one of the best intros EVER. When Hana hits Oreo in the head with her shoe because she is taking to long is priceless, then she does it again. "Setsunaku" has got to be one of the prettiest songs I have heard so far from any band. I am not sure of the lyrics or story line to the song but it is full of emotion and heart. You get the sense of the powerful message that lies deep within the song even if you are like me and do not understand Japanese (yet). I love it. Thank you to the wonderful soul that posted this. Can you find a full concert from just recently, I wanna more Angie 1/3 and that incarnation, please?
You can get their 2019 live BluRay with Angie (there's some clips of it on RUclips as well). There's also a bunch of clips from the livestreams they did over 2020 and early 2021 with Angie as well on RUclips!

The dancers holding the flames backdrop while Koga is playing is a great gag and if I ever play live again I am totally stealing it.
I still love the fact that they gave themselves a name that none of the girls can pronounce correctly on a regular basis. they are, of course, most often , gacharica spin.

I have no idea what is going on and I don't care. This is entertaining as hell.
I thought YT was drunk this morning, until I glanced at the playlist to see the stunning Fuki was in a track.
Now I have seen her, a cool drum solo, and some of the ........strange. A couple of these are head bobbers and I am no longer mad at YT for knowing I needed to see and hear this.
Wagakki Band (huge fan) > Babymetal (huge fan) > Jupiter > Versailles > Unlucky Morpheus > Tears of Tragedy > DOLL $ BOXX > to here, that's the trip I took tonight, so much to delve deeper into, not instantly loving everything..... but it got me here! Never heard this before and so glad I found this!

A friend sent me a link to Doll$boxx's "Take my chance" video and when it began I thought it was going to be one of those annoyingly shrill idol acts.. Then the song began and I was amazed. Then the autoplay wa son and I was introduced to Band Maid who also have a brilliant bassist and guitarist. I love both of them as well as Wagakki Band. My best friend is Japanese and her family in Japan has been kind enough to track down CDs for these and all of the other Japanese bands I enjoy and send them to me. Good reason to make sure I have fund sin my Paypall account

@@delbomb3131 Rather than meaning 'less than' I believe the '>' is showing the progression of bands he discovered, i.e. first he found Wagakki, then Babymetal, then Jupiter, etc. I could be wrong but that was my understanding.

This uploading is much better than their "Delicious Live" retail Dvd. Only 80 minutes including backstage material. For the one who spent the money it is hard to see this. Thank you for sharing this, it's a gem.

I've come to know GS only recently and I immeditely liked them, but this show... this is awesome,these girls not only rock like hell but they put on a show so brilliant, funny and energetic that remind me of the best Tubes and Oingo Boingo acts.
Can't understand a word of what they say but I can't help adoring them just for how they are and act.
Needless to say for how they play, of course.
Oreo is a hell of keyboardist and is so gorgeous that can drive crazy any audience just by her presence on stage. Ben Jan Dan and the song that precedes it are one of the craziest, funniest and driving things I ever watched from a rock stage, since the mentioned Tubes and Oingo Boingo times.
While the others smile-kick asses.
The two dancers are not lesser.
They need more exposure and deserve worldwide success!
How the fuck does Hana play drums like that AND stay pitch perfect for 2 fucking hours dude wtffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff
That's called post production. How much is hard to say without the raw tracks to compare. A better question is how do they play at that level of energy for two solid hours?
Pretty sure that Oreo is the only one who got autotuned in post for this. Hana's a remarkable talent, to say the least.
+CFH Cosplay Not much post production on this DVD besides the standard mixing/mastering/EQing. Autotune is very easy to spot if you know what you're listening for. Besides which, you can hear several points in this where notes are not quite hit which are left untouched.
Having seen them live several times this standard of performance is their default.
There are some recordings. The most glaring is the open of Hunting Summer. During the first verse, there's the sound of sticks on the hi hat, but Hana clearly isn't playing it.
@traxan650 Yes there are some programmed synths and percussion parts, standard for a band that mixes electronic styles with pop/rock as GS do.
Also, don't be fooled into thinking that is cheating in any way at all, keeping a band perfectly in sync with backing stems is not a simple task.

すげー❗️やっぱりライブっていいわ。ガチャプリも今までこれっぱかしも知らなかったけどでも最初聞き始めから良かった‼️最初は何系のどんなジャンルのバンドかと思ったけど。AKBとかアイドル系？いやあっち系かなとも思いきやガールズちょっとロックバンド的な面もありつつ。
yeezus, the drummer is fuckin god tier, singing this high with this pace is ASTOUNDING.
They are all amazingly talented but Hana is stand out incredible !

I can't watch preAngelina Gacharic. Their sound completely changed when she joined. She has a voice made for heavy metal! Best move they ever made was bringing her into the group.

I wish for translations too! I’ll put a few thing I think I heard. Tomozo’s Narcissistic bimbo act, told the crowd they didn’t respond(worship) properly; screwed up the two word song Kawaii Tomozochan and when Koga called her out she said, yeah I know but it’s hard... she called Hana the scary one, and referred to her being their brother (maybe that it’s hard to be brother and parent? Not sure), mentioned that Koga looks Chinese even to Chinese (Koga confirms it’s a true story, even the Stewardess thought so), and congratulates Orea on changing her weight during the difficult tour cycle, Up to the 110 club, “yayyy!”. Called Mai the sweet devil (that stuck, but was this the first time?), and all I heard about Arisa is something about Meowing... I’m sure that’s only a fraction of what she hit on, and i don’t guarantee accuracy (let me know), but sure sounds like good standup to me.
General BenJanDan impression was Oreo saying it’s stupid, she’s not even a member, what does it even mean?, it’s means the sounds of B-ass, G-uitar, & D-rums, and she is a member, cheered her right up...
Hey man, I know this is an old comment but I can add a bit to this. Good on you for catching what Tomozo said about Mai, she was talking way too fast for most of her monologue for me to catch much of it.
When talking about Hana, I believe she said the dancers were afraid of Hana at first because of her cool, reserved attitude. This is also the reason they call Hana the big brother of the band (she's the mature one). She told a story about Hana's father and mentioned "kaburimono" which is headgear; I think he was wearing a funny hat or something, which Hana often does. Koga and Oreo respond with "oyako da ne!" Oyako means "father and child" so, like father like daughter.
On their flight to China for a show, it was actually a Japanese flight attendant (Nihonjin no cabin attendant) who thought Koga was Chinese, which is even funnier! The last thing Tomozo says about Koga sounds like "Nihon dewa imaichi desu ga, Chuugoku dewa daininki" I think roughly that means what's not good or popular in Japan is popular in China (meaning Koga!)
The Ben Jan Dan bit; Oreo is unhappy that Ben Jan Dan represents three instruments, and she feels excluded. She keeps saying "san-nin" meaning three people; she wants the song to represent four people ("yonin"). She flubs the line a little bit and says san-nin again when she means yonin and Koga laughs at her. Since Ben Jan Dan represents Bass, Guitar, and Drum, Oreo wants it to be Ben Jan Dan BEEP to add the keyboard. Nobody likes this idea. :)
