To give some context, Luke's scream of pain from smashing his Fist against the ground is not because the ground is Frozen, though it probably didn't help, but from Rudeus having fractured Luke's wrist in the exchange. Pretty much any other mage is dead if a competent sword wielded gets close.
It’s crazy to think that even as good with a sword as Rudeus is by normal standards he’s completely outmatched by anyone using touki. I get it's a flip on the op protag troupe but I find his lack of touki needs to be better explained than he just can't produce it. If touki is correlated directly to mana I’m assuming that tempering and condensing it skillfully… so in that line of logic how could Rudeus not have control over that just frustrated not being able to see someone with rudeus mana capacity using touki and how that directly affects it.
Personally i had an idea that his immature training by Paul made him fight in a way where he never produced a battle aura to increase speed and strength instead used magic to do so but who knows. Badigadi did say that some people just cant it might be part of the aspect he was born with He is intermediate thats when Eris started producing it so he should have been able to if he ever could
personally i was kinda baffled by their audacity when they said something along the lines of "if we find that you cant protect her we will take her back" uhmm excuse me.. but its not like she grew up as your servant or something i get that you care for her but its not like you own her the fvk?
To me it felt like a please dont break her heart kind of empty threat because they care for her since they have been through life and death struggles and without her they wouldnt have made it But true its a weird way to put it saying we will take her back instead of something like we will always support her
It annoyed me a little since rudeus knew slyphie before any of them. I understand the reason this fight happened its just annoying to think about that.
They wanted to know if he can look after her like BRO he knew her way before you guys did and even taught her magic you have no right to make those kinda decisions for her no matter how long y’all have been together
It’s just a matter of pride. They know rudeus is way stronger but they needed him to beat Luke to show it and it was a way for them to hand over Sylphie’s protection. They’re nobles after all
Imagine telling Luke that Rudeus is physically incapable of enhansing his body with magic like most fighter do. No magical buff and the opponent still has yo be atleast sword saint to pose a threat... Aginst a primary caster... Who CAN cast near instent voicless magic. And Luke, while an accomplished knight, doesn't even warrent so much as forsight eye. The practice sword was there to protect Luke's life. Rudeus likes to THINK that he's weak but he just keeps getting caught up in fights with all the high brass of this world. Cannot even hit the ceiling pf his potential since anything that COULD deplete his mana in a reasonable time frame would litterally try to break his mortal human body. Height feel like a half baked glass cannon most of the time but the dude is a walking legend of such mythic caliber. When he's in the grave, scholars will be arguing the impossibility of a human even existing with his power and prowess. Amd this character is so human that he suffers from a combination of inferority complex at not being as great as his peers who all hold mastery in fields far away from his own god like mastery. Good writing on this series.
I think the technique Rudeus used in this was Sword God Style: Reflection. From what i remember Eris is a master of that too but can use it with longsword of light and that makes her just a degree below a sword god. Not everybody can do a horizontal longsword of light, even Orsted got hit, it’s that good.
how you gone walk up to rudy house acting all cool to challenge him to a duel and still tryna look all pretty boy then scream while charging at him and then lose? o _o
Nope, Rudeus still would've won even without his demon eye. The battle would've lasted a bit longer, but Rudeus has far more experience than Luke with the sword (which makes sense since Rudy got tutored by Paul, who is advanced in all three swordstyles, Ghislaine, who is a sword king and Ruijerd, who is near the emperor level in terms of ability)
Actually Rudeus mentions how he didnt need the eye of foresight regretted using it and then realized just how strong Paul Eris Ruijerd were in reality having warped his sense of strength

His foresight, wordless casting, endless mana and sword training let him hold his own against even sword saints in close quarters without tiring out.
Badigadi did say that some people just cant it might be part of the aspect he was born with
He is intermediate thats when Eris started producing it so he should have been able to if he ever could
My boi really wanted to know how weak he was😢
personally i was kinda baffled by their audacity when they said something along the lines of "if we find that you cant protect her we will take her back"
uhmm excuse me.. but its not like she grew up as your servant or something i get that you care for her but its not like you own her the fvk?
To me it felt like a please dont break her heart kind of empty threat because they care for her since they have been through life and death struggles and without her they wouldnt have made it
But true its a weird way to put it saying we will take her back instead of something like we will always support her
@@deathitself6985 yeah thats what im saying i completely understand the sentiment but the way she worded it made me go "and who tf is you?"
What happened to the graphics from season 1😭
En que capitulo sucede esto? Al parecer me lo perdí.
Ep no?
Do it again I blinked.
I love this scene ❤❤❤
It annoyed me a little since rudeus knew slyphie before any of them. I understand the reason this fight happened its just annoying to think about that.
This scene was last month bro, why so late lol
They wanted to know if he can look after her like BRO he knew her way before you guys did and even taught her magic you have no right to make those kinda decisions for her no matter how long y’all have been together
Get where you’re coming from, but before I get into spoilers. Have you read the light novel?
@@darthcopper7341 nah but I've been taking in a fair bit through shorts and explains but defs not enough to be knowledgeable
“Wym I’m the side character?“
that scene alone beats boruto by miles
Awesome Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Video.
What season?
New season
A real man world have accepted defeat.
I think the technique Rudeus used in this was Sword God Style: Reflection. From what i remember Eris is a master of that too but can use it with longsword of light and that makes her just a degree below a sword god. Not everybody can do a horizontal longsword of light, even Orsted got hit, it’s that good.
how you gone walk up to rudy house acting all cool to challenge him to a duel and still tryna look all pretty boy then scream while charging at him and then lose? o _o
Luke’s a chill dude though, you’ll see
Damn, luke is weak af
Nah. Rudy just has more combat experience
Hello
For my light novel readers does he use a sword sometimes in the future?
Not really, no. But he does get some other stuff that allows him to fight way better in melee range.
No. But he uses a specialized armor with a Gatlin gun
@@jawarafrazer8530stone canon quite literally go brr.
Is it NTR if you stole a girl that supposed to be somebody's else wife in another timeline?
Nah
nah it isnt
she definitely deserves someone better than luke
No since it doesnt change the fact that she fell in love with him this timeline and didnt even meet the guy until waaay later
Humillante.
the battle probably would've turned out differently if it wasn't for Rudys special eye
Actually Rudeus mentions how he didnt need the eye of foresight regretted using it and then realized just how strong Paul Eris Ruijerd were in reality having warped his sense of strength
a little bit to late...
😈🔥🤘🎌
The princess and Luke are some of the worst characters - really wish they'd just get killed off
Have you read the LN or just based on the anime so far?
Ig it can seem tht way considering anime cant show everything that happens in the ln. All i can tell u is Ariel deserves to prob rule the entire world

So it's this another one of those "overpowered MC" isekais?
I think it's actually the one that started the genre, and it's also wayyyy better than 99% of the genre, it focuses more on people being flawed than just overpowered, I recommend it. although it does have a long stretch where its kind of boring but I'm still interested in what happens in the future seasons. its definitely very unique as far as isekais go.
edit: actually not sure if it was the original, thats just what i heard, but it was definitely an early influencer of the genre
But very well earned power creep
Without the eye, Rudeus might have a bit difficulty in beating Luke but I heard that he is used to seeing Eris fight whose combat prowess surpasses Luke.
No, he wouldn't. The gap in skills is so huge, Rudeus would defeat Luke unharmed even without his foresight.
Bro Eris doesn't just surpass Luke, she ECLIPSES him. Luke is average at BEST only really strong because of his magic items, Eris is a sword saint level warrior with the potential to be king or even emperor tier with enough training. Friggin RUDY is objectively a better swordsman than Luke.
This show is about an emo teenager that got dumped by a girl. It's so bad
@glados4765 Biased opinion. But whatever u say
He didn't even get dumped tho?
This show is much more than that what a bad critic
This show become so boring not worthy to watch
It’ll get better for your entertainment. Tons of foght scene and power scaling in the future
