      More seriously, dumb fans and commentators seeking hot takes speak in zero sum games. But the simple fact is the Nugs are a better TEAM. The Wolves are young. I trust Ant will learn because Ant does and is already mature beyond his years. This summer he will be figuring out how to break double teams and learn how to better play team defense in addition to man defense. (He was ball watching at times, costing fast break points.)

    People are crazy to think that Gobert is playing poorly and I am a Nuggs fan. The matter of fact is nobody can stop Joker. Yes, one can slow him down sometimes, as evident by those first 2 games, but you cant stop him. For some reason, people assume that DPOY means a complete shutdown. Stop it. Gobert did everything he could but great offense beats great defense all the time.

    I'd argue Jeffersons take about Embiid being the best C scorer in the league. Compared to Jokic, he is just the C who takes the most shots and gets the most ft's per game. If Jokic wanted to average 30pts per game, he could easily do so and I'm not sure why it is hard for some of these ex players to acknowledge that.

      I think most people get that, but it's Embiid's role to be a primary scorer while Jokic has a more versatile game. Jokic could potentially be the best scoring center if he took more shots, but he won't. It reminds me of the Durant/Lebron comparisons from around 8 years ago, where Lebron could potentially be the best scorer, but Durant was titled the best, since his teams required him to carry more offensive load and he came out with the scoring titles.

      @xWrongButtonx 16 дней назад +1

      @@bc8814 Exactly. Jok is doing way more things on the court, scoring is not the most important. But that fact alone, should not devalue his ability to score. Perhaps I have misunderstood Jefferson, but sounded to me that he mentions Embiid as the most "prolific" scorer, at their respective position, which, in my opinion, is not the case. He is a higher volume shot taker, which enables him to score more points. If you compare their percentages it becomes more clear what I'm talking about (or it doesn't). 😅

      @MM-jc7uv no he didn't. Now you're just talking lol. Before yesterday games jokic was shooting between 33% to 40% when covered by gobert goofy. Yesterday he just went off. And gobert possibly had the best game of any wolves player, if it wasn't for him the wolves would've got obliterated. Get the he'll out of here and actually watch some games. Legitimately most of jokics shots on gobert were heavily contested, jokic is just that good.

      Shaq averaged 26.6 points in the finals against Ben WITH Sheed helping him out. That's not Ben "holding his own". It's the entire team helping. Also Ben didn't have to worry about guarding the perimeter unlike Rudy has to right now so that's A LOT of pressure off of him. The 2004 Pistons team was my favorite team but even I have to admit that it took the entire team defensively to contain Shaq. Not shut him down.
      Ben also is like 6'8 with shoes, so idk if he could guard Jokic 1v1. Joker would just shoot over him every time like he does to people like Kyle Anderson.
