Why was the lighting so inconsistent on this show? In the early episodes the lighting often got so bad that everyone's face was in dark shadow almost all of the time, especially in the laundry. Then they seemed to work out how to light the sets properly, then everything went dark again, and toward the late 500's or early 600's everything got bright and colorful again, it almost looked like a different show. Now toward the end, they've gone back to not lighting the sets or the actors properly and faces hidden in shadow.
