Just read this last month and I'm honestly still not over it. I felt like screaming through moist over it because the tension was so intense and the relationship so adorable. As soon as I finished the last page I called my friend to tell her I was coming over to drop this book off so she could read it. Fan-friggin-tastic
I was super tempted to start this book over right after I finished it. I loved it so much.

It changed my life. It helped me confront a boy from my past. Last summer, I started reading it while I sat at this restaurant, and one day my waitress and I talked. And she told me she lost her best friend when she was 13. That was the same year I lost a friend. It felt like a sign, reading how Josh was super into paintball. When I was 13, a boy from my class died in an accident. He loved paintball just like Josh does.
I saw him all the time. We had the same classes.
As soon as homeroom started, I'd see him come into my homeroom. I think his was next to ours. He'd always talk with his friend, and she sat right behind me; they were just friends. I wasn't very social. I felt like Lucy.
I thought he'd hate me. For little things like not showing up to his funeral, etc. Or why couldn't we have been better friends. We weren't in the same social circle. I finally realized that wasn't the case. He'd never hated me. We were friends. We were even on the same team.
Literally finished this in 2 days! So addicting! Loved it

I'm glad you made this review because there aren't many on youtube and I just finished this book. It is so sweet!! And I need more!! I feel it ended too abruptly :( The Hate-love is my favorite trope! If you like it too you should read the sexiest man alive! It's amazing :)

Thank you for this review, always great to find a fellow The Hating Game addict. I may be a pinch more obsessed than you though. I just finished it for the third time in a week - on audiobook so I could listen to it while cooking, running, showering, you name it. I’m hooked in a bad way. And I have a two-year-old too🙈 This was so devilishly funny and steamy and just full of heart. I’m in love with Josh and Lucy and Josh is now absolutely my number one book boyfriend. Swoon!

Half way thru the book and Falling head over heals for this one.. its just soooo lovely and feel good ! I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE Lucy and Josh.. wish they make a movie too !

This book is on my TBR. I have so many books I want to read. I am currently reading The Chemist by Stephanie Meyer. Not the genre I love but I have to find out how it ends. Great video!

Love the book , love the trope. A few details about Lucy's inner thoughts and monologues annoyed me. The chapter would begin and then flow so easily, and then she would think about something so left field that it jolted me out of harmony. She'd be like " I hate Josh, my car is leaking oil, Josh is wearing his mustard shirt, I should call Jerry ( the mechanic ) ".
