I like you me like Colleen Hoover is best in books
I've read most of Colleen's books and this is probably the best i've read so far. Ending compeltely caught me off guard.
Thrillers Can be really creepy but still they keep you on guard and curious all the time. I would love to see you read more thrillers. If you feel like reading one then I recommend The Silent patient. That book is very less creepy but just brilliant

This book was one of my faves definitely wasn’t scary in my opinion but was so suspenseful and the plot twist was so unexpected haha
I thought it was super good & not as spooky as I thought it would be!
I’ve been debating on whether I should or shouldn’t buy this book but you’ve just confirmed to me that I should! It sounds soo good and I love reading things out of my usual reads :) love ya 🤍

i truly loved it & found it to be a fun read! very different from my normal reads, but it was the perfect step towards the thriller direction! i recommend 🥰

spoiler warning if you haven’t read verity:
this is what i don’t get that i’m curious about. with verity faking her injuries, i’m wondering how the hell did she pull all of that off?? she had her in-home nurses who took care of her for most of the day but were they in on what she’s doing? i really wanna know if april and the other nurse (i forgot her name) knew she didn’t have any brain damage and were just playing along to her act. i remember jeremy even said that the doctor told him verity could be in that state indefinitely. so were these medical professionals playing along or did they actually not know because i find it hard to believe they didn’t know. i feel like verity maybe orchestrated it to make her condition look more believable??
idk but i find it hard to believe they didn’t know she was faking the whole time 🤷♀️

Here’s the thing if the doctors knew, then when she was killed they would have known it wasn’t from the injury’s and then know someone hurt her or she hurt herself. it wouldn’t make sense but at the same time it’s fiction so i’ll prob never understand lol
I know you wrote this a while ago, but here is my response:) so she said that she was in a coma after the car crash, so she actually did have injuries then she woke up and faked them. the doctors didn’t see her when she was faking it, they only examined her when she was actually in a coma. It never mentioned her nurses at the house actually medically examining her, they just fed her and took care of her and gave her some pills. Hope that makes sense!
i ate this book up i seriously could not put it down.
I've seen a lot of reading vlogs on this book - but this one is by far the best 🥰

Okay so I m team manuscript and I absolutely think verity's letter was a lie..
She wrote the letter after Jeremy and lowen did it in her old bedroom..like of all time she chose that time to write letter to prove her innocence?? Because she knew that lowen and Jeremy would soon be in a relationship and lowen would tell him about all the manuscript thing...so she would end up in jail and lowen also kinda knew she was pretending so yeah!
Also if verity was really telling truth in the letter why was there a scar on Harper's face from birth??
Why would Jeremy care for his verity his wife( when she was in vegetative state) when he only tried to kill her!! if he was ran her in the car than he would surely try to kill her so that she never tells anyone truth..ryt??
Also if Jeremy ran his wife in tree than there's no way police wouldn't find it... so yeah this all seems to point out that verity is lying
But I want to know ur opinion Alexa..do u agree with Me??
Wow, I love this so much!! You make so much sense of it 😂 I’m so torn between it all! I feel like if Verity was that crazy she wouldn’t run herself into a tree because she wouldn’t care! But at the same time I find it hard to believe that anyone could write such horrid things about their children. I think I am also team manuscript simply because I think Verity is just insane - especially since she faked her injuries!

I had mixed feelings when I started it because I thought it's gonna be an overhyped Booktok book which isn't actually as great as everyone said. But a soon as I started it I loved it. It's definitely worth the hype

Just finished the book today, and I believe the letter. I believe Jeremy is a snakeeee and agree completely with the random falling in love scenes. Absolutely hated it and I wanted her to leave him hahaha

after reading the extra chapters of the book i felt like i was so confused. i still don’t know what to think😆 i loved watching your reactions as you read!!💗
unpopular opinion: Lowen should have gotten out of there ASAP and more importantly, she shouldn't have hooked up w/ Jeremy. He was a married man, even though he was married to psycho-Verity. Can't blame it on the chemistry in this case... both of them were weak.
And you're right - Something is seriously off about Jeremy. If a continuation of Verity were to exist, I would BET that Lowen would be in a dangerous situation in it.
Okay I totally agree!!! I thought the entire thing was kinda weird & off… & like why was Lowen even falling in love with a married man in the first place? There were so many red flags from the beginning 🚩🚩 I also think she would be in a dangerous situation if the story were to continue. Even though Verity was a whack job there was something off about Jeremy too!!

Yay I'm early here! Omg and I did read Verity, it's such a good book scary sometimes and I don't generally read horror/thriller but I enjoyed this one I'm still confused on whom to believe 😭

there are so many great books to read by her! I loved reading "Ugly Love", "It Ends With Us" & "All Your Perfects"! I hear "Maybe Someday", "Reminders of Him" & "November 9" are phenomenal. I'm slowly making my way through all her books because i truly love them all!

I LOVE Colleen Hoover!! She is definitely one of my favorite author’s at the moment! She typically writes a lot of romance books - this is her first thriller one I believe. I love her books “Ugly Love” & “November 9”. Those are my two current favorites!
I was expecting a lot more thriller going into it but I actually didn’t find it that scary
I was surprised at how much I actually enjoyed this book & also how I wasn’t so scared!

I think that he really thought thar Verity did somethig to Harper, and he get more and more distant, so, she provoke the accident, but not with the intention of killing herself, so she made all that, so Jeremy, would feel guilty, because he would think that she was in so much pain that even tried suicide. And since he would feel guilty and he would take care of her, with time he maybe would love her again.I mean she killed her daughter to tried to get his attention. So i believe the letter was her final attempt because he has started to love another women, and if he was him to find the letter it would put a doubt in his soul so he couldn´t get in his life again. Verity was a psycho;

Hi!! I just looked it up & it says Verity is 18+! I could see why because there are scenes in it that are extremely mature!
