For clarity - the car did not catch fire! The title is misleading. Something happened to the engine that caused a lot of smoke and a small flame to come out of the exhaust pipe. There is no other damage to the car. It is still fully intact. It's still unfortunate, and we need to look into what happened.
It's good to see all the other Koenigseggs being fully enjoyed by their owners.

@@maxqocharyan5444 This car doesn’t have free valve. Free valve was one of those engineering concepts Koenigsegg made a lot of noise about but gave up because they obviously do not have the expertise to finish.

That’s either blowing a turbo (burning raw oil), or blowing the engines (burning coolant). No fire.

This is 100% a blown turbo as that's exactly what happens when it lets go. Had this been an engine failure the whole car would've been covered with coolant/oil then burned down due to the heat igniting it. Turbo prolly blew a seal or bearing blowing oil out the back like y'all seen. Could've been soo much worse but these cars have incredible build quality materials like titanium, magnesium, carbon fiber engine and exhaust bits. Hats off to the Koenigsegg R&D and QC teams for an excellent product.
Not true. When the turbos blow they don’t let this much smoke come out. White smoke is coolant, and that much coolant burned means the head gasket blew due to overheating. The block is now warped and the engine just blew up. Oil is either blue or gray smoke. Not white.
@@2seep color isn't my strong suit being color blind but I do agree white smoke is HG/motor blown issue.

Koenigsegg should make its issues more public so there could possibly be more engineers who can help alleviate issues with durability in soft or hardware(which seems to be the primary issue so far with all the incidents).

Something not acceptable on a brand new, low mileage, multimillion dollar car... I mean i can accept that on a 1950s 300SL or a 250 Ferrari (still multi million 😂), not on a 2024 car... It's the difference in gearboxes, I think its a manual zonda whereas all Murcielago sv is paddle shift.
I believe the zonda and ccx are manual.
The lambo and zonda are very simular cars. Also the zonda has the massive wing for track use but it does slow it down for drag racing.
But yeah it's all in the shift times 👍
@@UKBUILT still the power and weight differences are huge. 760 hp zonda that weighs under 1300 kg vs 670 hp murcielago that is over 1.5 tons. i cant believe the gearbox can make up for that
@@NoahMurray-760 yeah different weight but more drag on the zonda. In there current configuration there quite matched. The old single clutch sequentials are still faster than a human change. They both pull well of the line but the Zonda drops back in the gearchanges. It's quite common to see this effect when any sequential is put up against a manual. Manuals are way more engaging to drive in most cases but definitely slower in any drag race. Sequentials keep on pulling hard. With a manual in a drag race theres massive loss in power as the clutch is typically held in to long because we're not robots 😂 yeah gear changes make a massive difference in a race. If you had two identical spec cars, one manual and the other sequential they would be atleast 1-2 car lengths apart over a quarter mile 😎👍
Don't forget the murcielago is 4 wheel drive too

it's because koeningsegg have a tubrocharged v8 wich means it's very tuned, and a w16 dosent need to be tuned since it's such a large engien
