Both of my sons and I are recovering from pneumonia here in Virginia. It's snowing again this morning, and the temps are almost unbearable in the low 20s. My mama grew up eating lots of wild game and always talked about how delicious it was, but I never acquired the thought of eating so many beautiful little creatures which I have spent a lifetime feeding.

Shame the hogs stink so much, that would be a lot of meat. Think the only thing I've eaten that was wild, is deer. But I would think, any meat would be alright, if it tastes good and save on the pocket book!! - If Lester isn't around! Lol. Lots of different remedies, whatever works is great, may work for one but not the other. Glad the boys hang out with you, don't trust their knowledge when it comes to wandering!! It's a Winter Wonder Land lot of snow and more to come. Enjoy snow mobility and weenie roast in the woods ,and when lakes froze spend ice fishing, Put tree up very pretty ,did Gi find a new tree ? Hope ya get that hot are ya going to roast him my brother like the young ones says old one are tuff.
I love frog legs,pawpaw. You would, too, if you could get past what they are. I have only had them in restaurants,I could never cook them or watch someone else cook them. With a good batter on them, they are very good, surprisedme.
I would never eat a Possum, would vomit first. A possum with paralyzed back legs got on my back porch once, to eat cat food and wouldn't leave. I felt sorry for him, so I got him into a cat carrier and took him to the emergency vet, which also took wildlife, to be put down. He stunk so bad I took him in the trunk but I could hardly breathe. After that, I can't hardly even look at possum, let alone eat one. Ronnie, that's just nasty! 😂😂
Let Ronnie know one of my coworkers died after eating raw oysters one time. He got sick from it and passed. The rivers and bays are too polluted now to eat anything raw.
