- Lisa Nicole Lopes (May 27, 1971 - April 25, 2002), better known by her stage name Left Eye, was an American rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer and dancer. Lopes was a member of the R&B girl group TLC, alongside Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins and Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas. Besides rapping and singing backing vocals on TLC recordings, Lopes was one of the creative forces behind the group. She received more co-writing credits than the other members. She also designed the outfits and staging for the group and contributed to the group's image, album titles, artworks, and music videos. Through her work with TLC, Lopes won four Grammy Awards.[4]
During her brief solo career, Lopes scored two US top 10 singles with "Not Tonight" and "U Know What's Up", as well as one UK number-one single with "Never Be the Same Again", the latter a collaboration with Melanie C of the British girl group Spice Girls. She also produced another girl group, Blaque, who scored a platinum album and two US top 10 hits. Lopes remains the only member of TLC to have released a solo album.
On April 25, 2002, Lopes was killed in a car crash while organizing charity work in Honduras. She swerved off the road to avoid hitting another vehicle, and was thrown from her car. She was working on a documentary at the time of her death, which was released as The Last Days of Left Eye and aired on VH1 in May 2007.

no one talks about how Lisa paid $400K in back child support for him that he never paid back (as he had agreed to). his brother n cousin destroyed Lisa’s car and the other one and she knocked the windows in Andre’s car. and Andre wasnt at the house when the fire started. He was disloyal and abusive. he literally bought a girl home that night to cheat w (she spilled on facebook with photo proof). He was manipulative then, and still is to this day. sad case

@@lovelymix8056 I honestly forgot. I used to run a "rares page" for Lisa and got most my pics on FB. I was searching one day and the lady popped up airing him out and posted a pic of them. That was back in 2020 so it could be deleted now. but maybe "Andre hopelessly in love" will bring up something. But i remember it was a long post about how she was friend with him and occasionally theyd run into one another at the club. theyd sit at the bar and talk. she knew of his relationship and hed say Lisa was so abusive to make him out to be a damsel (per her words). she swore she wasnt trying to sleep with him despite knowing his intentions and entertaining him. the night of the fire, he invited her back to his place. she drove her own car and trailed him and his crew. n then andre left the house and she went and waited in a room. thats when she heard commotion and dipped cause she didnt want Lisa to get the wrong idea (also per her words).

She abused him, and admitted to it. She also burned his mansion up and dumped him once she got what she wanted, which was a marriage proposal. She was chasing Tupac, who didn't even like her, all the while. Andre didn't need to go through all of this. He should have left that brokey in the club that night.
