Yeah I wasn't sure about the IC CE's because of the sound of the cooling fans but all of The Blue Bird All American A3's filmed here have Cummins ISC 8.3L engines ,Ive seen pictures of their engines.
Corey Parker I live in palm beach I use to work for them they buses breaks down all the time even the newer ones. I now have my own transportation company here in palm beach picking up school children and I even have bus problems. Besides the school district does not pay much anyway
blue bird never made tandem axle school buses ever only RV s and coach buses but not school buses only crown 's gillig's and Thomas built tandem axle school buses in some point in the production line s
Back in the 1960’s with the option of the Jay Madsen chassis, all body manufacturers including Bluebird, Carpenter, Wayne, Superior, Ward, & Oneida made tandem buses on these chassis’. It was mostly Activity buses that used this special chassis though (Rear or Mid-ship engine configurations with Cummins or Detroit were available)

I a fan of them IC RE’s. You’d rarely see those in my county
The 2016 CEs have the Cummins ISB in them, and the All Americans have CAT 3126Bs and CAT C7s.
