You can’t have season 2 without season 1 because you need to understand the complex relationships and all the motivations of the individual characters, which are set up so perfectly in season 1. That said I love season 2, it’s so rewatchable. Whenever I introduce ppl to the show I am waiting impatiently for them to get to season 2. It’s probably my favourite season from any show.
It's always interesting to see people's initial reaction to the priest. Priests take vows of obedience and celibacy... but there are no rules saying they can't smoke or use strong language or have a social drink.
Phoebe Waller-Bridge is the name of the actress who play Fleabag, but as in interview she gave, as she wrote this show, she didn't wanna put name on the main character, so more people could connect to her.

I really love both seasons for what they are, so I wouldn't say one is better than the other, cuz they just have a different vibe (but brilliant in their own ways). But if I were to compare, I think in season one we learn about the mess that Fleabag's life (and herself) is, as in the second season we watch her navigate trough life having put aside some things she needed to let go, you could even say shes matured a lot (compared to what we've seen). Both seasons are great, but this one is a little better. Andrew Scott is so good in everything. This first episode of season 2 is one of the greatest episodes of any TV series ever!

I just finished my Season 2 rewatch and it makes you feel so many feelings, I think it's one of the best 2nd seasons of tv ever
