Harvesting Collards

Harvested some of the collards I am growing this past weekend! Collard leaves are ready for harvesting whenever they reach a usable size. Younger leaves tend to be most tasty, where older leaves will be more tough!
I started these as small transplants I purchased for a few bucks, and it was well worth it. Nothing better than a farm to table dinner!
