I appreciate & am impressed w/ all the memorabilia you've collected on Mr. Gary Cooper. May I ask, what are your personal thoughts about him? I personally feel & think he represents the "real deal" of what a truly genuinely courageous & authentic human can be
He's definitely my favorite actor and was just a fascinating person. I think part of it is that he grew up and lived in a world very different from today and that makes his experiences very interesting. I think he was inherently a decent and nice man.
The more the world changes, I think the more we miss actors/men like Gary Cooper. He was a product of his time and a very specific upbringing (growing up on a ranch in Montana when it was one of the last frontiers, attending boarding school in England, living in Italy, etc.). For those reasons, we will never see anyone like him again. He was a fascinating person/actor who needs to be rediscovered by today's audiences. I'm afraid that if anyone like him existed in Hollywood today, he would probably be told to bulk up and appear in the next superhero movie.

Gary Cooper's father was a lawyer so it's obvious he himself loved to dress nice. I love his style " puttin' on the Ritz". He was also an illustrator.
