I think we have similar editing styles. I do quite a bit of clean to less then amount of heavy lifting in FS. If the person has pretty good skin I don't even have to do any FS. Good going sir love the content
That’s interesting. Yeah, especially if the final image is only going to end up on social media, you can do a lot of the heavy lifting with just clean up. Especially on wider shots.
I use FS every once in a while, but recently been preferring D&B even though it takes longer.
Appreciate the comment! Hope to make more in this series.
can we talk about how even pixelated, she’s still flawless?
Some people are just lucky 😊
Superb!!!
Thank you very much! It was fun to make.
Very nice to see both the how to's & why's. Also very nice to include the model in the process. Not sure, but I suspect talking to her makes technical details more accessible to a broader youtube audience.
Thank you for the comment. Yeah, that was kind of the idea. Trying to give the perspective of someone who is not really familiar with the retouching process. And it’s kind of interesting to see it from the models perspective.
I’m glad you enjoyed it. I hope to make a few more like this, with different models.
@@brgphotography I've only recently seen a couple of your videos & will be coming back for more. More w/ models & using different models & using different models is a good idea, as long as they're game. Hopefully they will enjoy being involved in the process. Perhaps give them ideas as models.
@jktolford8272 yes! They definitely have to be ok with having all their tiny little “flaws” pointed out. Haha! But hopefully I’ll be able to find some more willing candidates.
Very interesting !
Thank you! 😊
1:25 Where did all those layers and groups spring from?
😅oh, I had edited the video from a later part, so there is a jump.
But what I did was active my Retouching Macro, which sets up a few layers I use for retouching. Just the part where I activated it got edited it out.
I didn’t think anyone would noticed. 😅 I got busted. lol.
@@brgphotography Do you have a video where you go through the process of setting up that macro?
I'm a recent convert from Photoshop and would appreciate seeing how that is done.
@Ruffian_Xion yes I do!
This video you can actually download them and see how they work.

And this is an older video where I show the step by step process how I make it (in affinity version 1, but it’s the same in version 2)

I hope these help.
@@brgphotography Awesome, thank you!
