MG should consider hybrid powertrain for this variant to improve mileage. Even if price goes up by 2 or 3 lakhs, it will still be competitive compared to Creta, Grand Vitara/Hyryder.
in city 9 to 10kmpl (it depends on traffic situation) in highway 15 to 17kmpl (80 to 100kmph speed maintain only) my friend buy mg astor select cvt petrol model. it is good car bro. not bad at all. if you are a mileage oriented person? you need huge mileage like maruti? and you expect 100% reliability? definitely this car is not for you. but you need 90% build quality and 100% superb plastic interior quality design....and premium luxury cabin interior. overall you accept for single digit mileage. definitely this car is for you.

Not a good car.. engine is too weak to run this super heavy car… and therefore power becomes less and mileage is extremely poor
Exactly
Most well built cars will give less mileage. People are spoilt with budget cars like Altos with high mileage
To ja tata ( tatti) aur mahindra chor kharid... Phir daily service centres jana....
