This was one of the first Arknights-related videos I watched and now I'm proud to say that I've been playing it for a year straight and going strong
For me it was quite similar, I got hooked up to Arknights thanks to the soundtrack and compilations like this
You could legit just take the aux cord at the front seat and play some of these, absolutely no one would think it's from a mobile game (unless they also play). Operation Dawnseeker could pass as that one "The Weeknd" song that's very hidden.

The fact that you included Random Randomly is what makes this great. It's such a slept on banger since global hasn't released it yet (probably until next CNY), and by banger I mean I religiously listen to it over and over
I really do appreciate the few times HG's done jazz, Tipsy is pretty cool, fusing lo fi and nice clean sax and guitar, Lee's theme makes erhu fit into jazz funk somehow, the IS 1 boss and lobby themes have a hella free vibe, and the animated pv theme for the Texas event is such great bebop. It's honestly great to hear all that, when most video game jazz is just bossa nova or big band, and while I do love me those genres, it's a shame video game composers don't really explore jazz, particularly the 50s-70s era.
Why the hell would someone sleep on Twilight of wolumonde song?

No no, don't get me wrong. I put ToW there because of the chill and calm vibe, not because its boring or bad.
And yes ToW music remind me of the witcher world too. Truly good music.

Hai Mao, the founder of HG, lead producer of Arknights (and the guy who rolled all in every anniversary live stream) is well known for being a Touhou fan.
Touhou Project is a series of 2D shooting games with fabulous bullets pattern designs and incredible sound tracks, and they go so well together in the game. Along with amazing character design and world building It got such a huge fan art community that dwarfs any other ones in the entire world.
The sole creator of Touhou Project is ZUN, who once said in an interview that the reason why his games fits so well with the in game music was because he wrote all the pieces of music first, and then create stages and bullet patterns based on the style, beats and rhythm of said music.
Now we see Arknights producing soundtracks that are in perfect synergy with the game's story, character and gameplay style, one can only speculate...
But hey, that's just a theory, a GAME THEORY...
