Even if Sega refuses to make an actual Puyo game that isn't a mediocre crossover or Quest garbafe, I'm glad the community is still giving this series the respect it deserves.
We're working on the psp version too though. the base of the game is entirely translated and we also just need to import text there. most importantly I'm also working on the Wii version, which is also done and awaits for text import
PSP and Wii ports of the patch are also coming out, the 3DS is just the main skew we're basing the other two on (plus, the porting of the 3DS patch to Wii and PSP are two single person efforts)

They released a non-crossover Puyo game this year, Puyo Puyo Puzzle Pop.
