Loved the video, and especially loved the music! Thanks for including it in the description box. I just subscribed, and I'm so glad I did. I don't make soap, but I make wreaths and do mandala dotillism on rocks, etc. I still love watching soap makers do their thing. I like just watching videos with no talking. Very relaxing and comforting. I just wish I could smell the fragrance oil. Maybe some day.
The soap is exquisite, like always and it's always so peaceful and relaxing to watch you make it. I absolutely love rose quartz and the scent retention is excellent. Thanks for all your videos.
Me gustaría mucho hablar inglés para decirte cuánto me agrada tu trabajo y lo hermoso que quedan tus jabones!!! 😊😊👍. Pero aprenderé lo esencial para saludarte.
Hi. Wat did u add in your whole soap batter that it gave u more time on working. U waited for the 1st layer for about 20 mins & in the meantime other soap batters didn't get thick even u added FO too & mixed with a stick blender.
Amazing!! Love it!! I would like to ask you something if possible, when you let it set up for 20 minutes, just in the first step , are you not covering it with anything? Is it not usual to cover it with something warm to don't lose its temperature? Thank you for your art.
No I don’t cover it. It all gets to room temp. But I’ll heat it back up after I’m finished by covering it, wrapping it in a towel and putting a heating pad under it. Recently I’ve been pre heating my oven to 200° turning it off then putting my soap in overnight and gelling the soap that way. I really love doing it this way. No partial gels 😍
How did you manage to get that middle layer or dark pink inside? I only saw 2 actual layers divided by mica sprinkling (or did I miss something)? Beautiful result btw.
I love the design. I have a question with the sprinkle of the mica, can you spritz instead with mica alcohol mixture? I spill mine all over the place looking for a different alternative.
Hello, I am a fan of your creations! Your soaps are beautiful ... I also do cold saponification amateur, and I dream to learn more about your method. How do you do for your soap pie stays so long without freezing ?! It's a mystery for me! I ordered the same mold as you, and I have no idea of its capacity (how many kilos of oil to fill it?!) Where did you find the container in which you prepare your batch (the species of large transparent plastic bucket that seems perfectly suitable for the amount of oil needed for this mold)? ... In short ... questions like these, I have tons! Thank you for your answers. Sandra (From France!)
Great soap. I have one question in particular. What is the dust thing you used between the layers? If not for the color I would say it was mineral coal, but never seen one with colors. Thank you very much for the lesson.
@@OpheliasSoapery Thank you very much. The mica was a very interesting detail. I saw people using active coal or cosmetic glitter. Very instructive. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
Hi. I just want to make a simple aloe vera soap. My ingredients are lye water, coconut oil ad aloe vera. My question is, how will i know the exact measurements of each ingredients? Thanks for the answer
Hello! Let me direct you to @royaltysoaps She has a beginners guide to soap making :) Start here: ruclips.net/video/1R68zaZHgBU/видео.html Then: ruclips.net/video/kESIaTZJCUk/видео.html 100% coconut oil soap can be very drying if not superfatted to at least 25%. I know you probably do not know what that is. I suggest doing a ton of research! When I first started I did so much research my brain literally hurt 😂
Hey, I was just watching and I saw the fragrance oil that you poured in, that looks like a lot. Did you mix your fragrance oil with water? I made a bar of soap for the first time the other day and I didn’t put very much fragrance oil in and it was super strong. How do you know how much fragrance oil you should put in? Maybe you put that much in because you’re doing a large batch?
Okay, I ordered a beginner’s soap making book; I hope it has info with numbers in it. I also just ordered 3 different oils and 3 different scent oils from SoapGoods; I will look for their recommendation/percentages for the scents. Maybe I should read the book before making anymore soap tho
Some fragrance oils are veeeery strong and you should use your nose and personal preference when adding it. But! Some of them have a tendency of fading out really quickly and in a month the fragrance can be almost non existent if you used too little. That's something you should consider especially when making soap to sell. You don't want to sell a roses and vanilla scented soap if the scent is already gone! So, always check the manufacturer's instructions and read reviews if there are any and preferably do a smaller test batch if you're still unsure. I don't recommend using more than the manufacturer advices tho
You’re good at everything you do. Every aspect. Making videos, making soap, etc.
Thank you 🥹
The music is so Zen and your designs so beautiful. My soul. The peace. Lol.

You should look up icing combs. They do the same job as your cardboard scraper but it would be easier to clean and last a lot longer

I’ve never tried that with layers. I’m not sure if the layers will stick together. But if you do it let me know! I’m curious as well :)

Beautiful! What color of Mica did you use?
this is so pretty!
Very pretty! and watching i so calming and relaxing :-)
For more working time, Does it mean that you divide them into different containers before reaching trace? Thanks for the video!
Yes :) I mixed the oil, water and lye together with a whisk first just to combine. Then blend with the stick blender later to trace.
What size is the plastic container you use for mixing your base?
This video I used a 6qt.
Hola! Como podría ver esto en Español??? No hablo inglés. Muchas gracias. Hermosas obras de arte en jabón.
I just bought this mold. Thank you for the link. How many pounds of soap do you use if I may ask?
I like to have a little room so the lid doesn’t touch the soap so I calculate it to have 115 oz of oils. The end result is around 7 pounds.
Thank you! I just made my first batch and used 6 lbs. so far so good
Is the red powder after every layer mica? ( I’m new to soap making :)
Yes :)
