Other families suffered in ways that can never get better. That orchestrated reaction at the time made me sick. I agree with your original statement, I'd say it's not a masterpiece, but it is definitely something that is written and performed with a lot of heart and soul with a proper call-back to oldschool composition.
Combined with the message of the song, it fits like a glove.
